This is a fantastic bnb! Wonderful, multi course breakfasts, with an abundance of fresh fruit. We stayed in the master bedroom downstairs, which was huge, with a comfortable oversized King bed, and an enormous 5 piece bathroom. Kathy and Tory were exemplary hosts; giving excellent suggestions for hikes often off the beaten path. This heritage home has been beautifully preserved with so many interesting details and decor! Excellent location to Bryce, Zion, and the Grand Canyon.

While stepping back in time is enjoyable, and discovering something new in each room is entertaining, the experience of staying at the inn is very much modern and comfortable. If you are ever in Kanab, a stay at the Inn is a must.||Kathy’s attention to her guests enhances the pleasure of staying at the inn. Her attention to detail is boundless. The coziness of the bed and bedding, along with her thoughtful care of her guests, does not go unnoticed. And, of course, one cannot compliment her breakfasts enough. Delicious fruit, beautifully displayed, fresh juice of your choice, and mouthwatering entrées are all part of the experience. If you don’t already have plans, Kathy will help you with her ideas, resourcefulness, maps, and brochures. Her husband, Tory, available when he can be, is also a gracious host and tends the bountiful garden that supplies much of Kathy’s cooking. The two are so much fun to get to know and share conversations with, and it’s clear that they are just as delighted by their guests, whether they’ve come from across the globe or just a state away. I didn’t expect to make such lasting memories, but I can confidently say that you cannot go wrong choosing the Purple Sage Inn.

You won't get a better breakfast in Kanab, beautiful old home with lovely antiques. The Innkeeper, Kathy, is quite knowledgeable about the area and things to do. The beds are super comfy, high quality linens and towels as well. Very close to Zion National Park, Bryce State Park and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Lovely restored B&B. Comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Kathy and Tory made us feel at home and provided excellent travel recommendations. The breakfasts were homemade and delicious. Enjoyed the conversation with other guest around the dining room table.

Stayed two nights here. The owner has an amazing collection of antiques in the inn, a very old historic inn. Room was very clean. Bedding comfortable. Inn keeper was extremely helpful in many areas. Breakfast is amazing, in quantity and quality of food. Close to restaurants in downtown kanab.

Very cool house with a lot of history. Antiques through out as well as information on the surrounding area. Would have loved to spend more than 1 night. Hosts were great as was the breakfast that included homemade jellies and grape juice fresh from the vine outside the window.

We really enjoyed our stay at the BnB in Kanab. Kathy made sure we had everything we needed and then some. Wonderful breakfast and lots of snacks. Loved the porches and meeting other guests staying there. We highly recommend the Purple Sage Inn.

What a wonderful time, we enjoyed every minute of this. The breakfast was amazing, especially the creme brulee french toast! And the host was even better. She gave us ideas of other things to do and was extremely accommodating. What a great place to spend our anniversary.
