Dinner with Mrs. V. I discovered this unique mom & pop tapas eatery with a twist on Google after a lengthy search for restaurants in the Surprise area. Upon arrival were greeted and seated immediately by our server Cheryl. This place has a very interesting chill vibe. Cheryl was very welcoming, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable when I asked her questions concerning their menu and the restaurant concept, which is an American spin on a tapas restaurant. Cheryl’s menu recommendations were on point. Everything that leaves this scratch made kitchen is extraordinarily well plated, presented and absolutely delicious! After we finished our meal, Chef Angie visited our table. She was very engaging and gracious. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!!

This place is a gem! We came on a Saturday night to amazing food, great atmosphere/ambience, and comfortable seating with cushy chairs. The service was amazing from our server, Cheryl, to the bartender, Candice. The chef and co-owner, Angie, came out to each table to ensure customer satisfaction as well as co-owner, Jeff. What a wonderful experience! We will be back for sure!

Visiting friend in Sun City, Az and she took me to a cute, cozy
and quaint place named Quench Taps and Tapas. What a lovely place, the food was AMAZING and the service was llayed back and personal. The food presentation was beautiful. We shard the Hummus w/veggies, Spinach Artichoke dip and finished with the Carmel Cheesecake with Butterscotch Drizzle. We sat and visited, enjoying the food and time together. The desert was simply amazing! I avoided licking the dessert plate for fear I would embarrass my friend.

The host welcomed us warmly and gave us seating options, and seated us. Cozy atmosphere with nice decor, seating, and art. We looked over the menu, 1st trip so we tried 4 things off the menu. We enjoyed the food and the artistic way the food was presented. Our waitress We saw to order, change water, and boxes. We did not see her during our meal, others brought our plates out, so kind a team effort getting food out. We had fun eating here for our date

If you read my reviews you know I am a sucker for all things local and when given a chance I’ll choose that over a chain any day. I’ve had Quench Taps and Tapas on my list of spots to check out for what feels like forever and tonight after a long and very busy vacation I made my way over for some appetizers and a few drinks. Luckily for me it was during their happy hour and they had so many good options that it was hard to decide. We were not only greeted right away we were also seated. So glad we came when we did because it really filled up quick. To our surprise there was even some live music which they told us happens every other Friday. The location is small, but feels bigger and seating is so cozy. While it feels more upscale it doesn’t feel stuffy if you know what I mean. I’d say this place isn’t for kids as it’s mostly alcohol and more upscale kind of eats. They have a great wine and cocktail list as well as of course draft beers. We had ate a late lunch so we opted for mango habanero wings and the BLT Flatbread which were both on the happy hour list. They also offer a reward program to earn points off purchase and on your birthday month. Service the entire time was awesome and Cheryl our server was kind and knowledgeable. She was attentive and let us know all the specials or other great options. Her drink choice after I told her what I liked was on point and the cosmopolitan was delicious. We’ll definitely add this spot into rotation. What a great date spot.

This place is adorable, laid back and relaxing. Big beautiful windows, wine taps, different beers, and reasonably priced/sized food. The customer service is also amazing! I’m sure I’ll be back.

Such an amazing experience, this restaurant is a hidden gem! It is a must try for anyone in Arizona, you will not be disappointed!

My family has multiple food allergies (Gluten, Dairy & Peanuts) and almost all of the food could be modified to suit our needs. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients. She was able to guide us on which dishes were safe for our allergies and make recommendations. All the food is made to order and from scratch but the wait was not bad at all. The atmosphere is very laid back with couches and low tables, it felt like sitting in a living room with friends which was different and fun! They do have traditional restaurant seating and tables if you prefer that though.

We tried the hatch fries with prickly pear ketchup, stuffed mushrooms, chicken skewers, steak skewers, mango habanero wings, Korean BBQ wings, hummus, lemon stack cake and drinks. Everything was absolutely incredible and presented beautifully. The portion sizes are perfect, not too much or too little since they are meant to be shared. One of our favorites of the night were the skewers and wings but you cannot go wrong with any of the dishes.

We plan to be back and hope the community will support such an amazing restaurant like this one as they are hard to come by. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

OMG!!!! Hidden Gem!!! The food was spectacular, service phenomenal, and atmosphere relax and chill! We will definitely be back every time we are in the area! Blackened shrimp with mango sauce and stuffed mushrooms are a must!
