Had the opportunity to stay at this BnB as a staging point for our hike on the Arizona Trail Passage Two - Canelo Hills East. We hiked our first part and then checked in at the BnB during a rainy and cold nite. Our hostess arrived within minutes after we called from the call box area outside the office.||||We had two nice rooms on the bottom floor and a jointly shared bath. In the hallway was water, cold and hot for beverages. The bedrooms were very nice with separate heaters that kept us plenty room. My bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious.||||The upstairs living room is very big and nicely decorated. We didn't get to spend much time here as we got back late from Sonoita (about a 1/2 hour drive) and had an early breakfast before our hike the next day. The hostess put together a fresh egg and tortilla breakfast with sweet potatoes. The perfect vegan meal for the other 3 guests and I participated. The coffee was the old fashioned kind; made with a percolator. It was very good.

Eighteen miles from anywhere, that's the Whispers Ranch. A comfortable, relaxing B&B with an at home attitude. The star filled nights were my favorite. Living in a city you don't see all the stars that you can see in the country. I would stay there again just to star gaze. The B&B is for sale so who knows what it will become. Beds were comfortable, meals were nice and the owner was a pleasant busy woman. If you want solitude, quiet, and remoteness this place is for you. Bring your own food, snacks, adult beverages for meals other than breakfast. However, on request they will cook dinner for you.

My husband and I did a road trip through Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado in Sep 2018. We like to stay at a B&B rather than a hotel because it is usually a much better experience. Well, this experience was not warm and fuzzy. The innkeeper was not very friendly at all. We were the only ones staying this particular night. She locked the kitchen doors and even the thermostat. Breakfast was very disappointing... scrambled eggs and undercooked cubed potatoes. We would not recommend this place.

Very secluded and beautiful ranch house. Rooms are clean and the breakfast was delicious! Only complaints are the little things...no ice machine and one ply toilet paper, really? The B&B is in a remote location so cellular service is non existent, but the wifi signal is strong.

Couldn't agree more with Donna M. The experience was not warm or fuzzy. It is not a "ranch" but an ordinary house surrounded by a 6 foot cedar fence like in any neighborhood in America. The fence blocks what views there are. It is very far from anywhere. The kitchen is locked and guests are prohibited from using it. There is no ice available. The thermostat is locked. The barbecue outside was chained and padlocked. Our breakfast, as well, was scrambled eggs and under cooked cubed potatoes with no seasoning whatsoever, even salt or pepper. The owner stood and watched over us as we ate and told of all the disappointments, tragedies and hardships of her life. It was a cold night. We had one very thin cotton quilt on the bed. Upon flushing the toilet it took several return trips to shake the handle and mess with it to stop the water running. We paid for two nights. We did not return for the second.

First time staying at a b & b, I didn't know what to expect. But I felt very welcome and at home. Room was comfortable and the area was very quiet. It is a nice get a way from the city.

We were lucky to find Whisper's Ranch on our way to Parker Lake!||The place is charming, immaculate, quiet and we enjoyed our night under amazing skies.||The owner, Toni, with whom we shared our love for animals, also runs the Sanctuary on the property, and she gave us a tour: it's admirable!||Highly recommended.
