My recent stay was a great experience. I stayed in room 229, which had a pleasant side view of the pool from the second floor. While some freeway traffic noise was present, our room managed to buffer much of it. Here is a simple way to minimize the noise: keep the bathroom fan and the air conditioner fan running (set to "ON," not auto). Though we brought earplugs just in case, we didn’t need to use them!

I want to extend a special thank you to Jimmie at the front desk for addressing my concerns and thoughtfully finding us a quieter room even though we knew full well this hotel is conveniently located off a mil busy road and the freeway. I also deeply appreciated Kimberly’s proactive approach in checking on us shortly after we arrived. She ensured everything met our expectations and made me feel valued as a Gold Elite member.

We ordered takeout from the restaurant downstairs, enjoying our meal in the comfort of our room. The tacos and quesadillas were flavorful and satisfying. However, we did have to bring our own drinks since no complimentary water was provided in the room.

The room was clean and thoughtfully designed, with a functioning bathroom fan—a welcome feature often missing in similar hotels. The pool looked inviting, though we didn’t have the chance to use it during our stay. I did notice that the ice machine on the second floor was out of order, but the third-floor machine was operational and conveniently located near the elevator.

Overall, the friendly and attentive staff, along with the thoughtful amenities, made this a positive and relaxing stay. I would certainly consider returning on a future trip.

This hotel was excellent, the rooms were excellent , roomy, desk and comfortable chair to work from. Bathrooms clean , nice counter top space, shower head pressure excellent and optional sprays were excellent. Bed was very comfortable.
Nice coffee bar in the mornings. In house restaurant was a nice option.
The fitness center was amazing, I was amazed with the quantity of machines and free weights, bikes, treadmills and stepper. Excellent fitness area

My wife and I frequently stay at this property and we have had consistently superior service, thanks. The staff here are so friendly that we are all on a first name basis.This property is conveniently located near the I10 and it is surrounded by fast food restaurants and shopping. The property feels safe inside and out, it's always clean and well maintained. I am comfortable recommending this as a place to stay. As always, thanks Kim! Props to Ricea, (I am sure I have misspelled her name.) who was so helpful getting us settled in our room. BTW, I always use earplugs when we stay here to eliminate freeway noise.

I hadn’t stayed at this particular location but WOW! What a wonderful experience. This hotel was spotless and the room was just awesome! Hotel staff was amazing. I also ate dinner in the restaurant “Tacos Carbon” and it was delicious! Ribeye tacos Carbon Style along with chips and salsa and a couple ice cold beers. I will stay at this location next visit for sure. Cudos to all!!

The Pro’s - The room was very clean. The air conditioning was good. Easy check in and out. Property was clean.

The Con’s - Extremely noisy. Between the street noise and the freeway noise it was very noisy in the room. That noise never stopped all night.

Another con is that other than coffee there is no other amenities for a quick breakfast or any other drink like juice.

If you’re interested in sleeping, make sure they place you on the first floor or at the side of the hotel that is far away from the freeway. If they place you on the second floor or higher demand to be moved to a room as far away from the freeway property line as possible. Goodyear is a major area for semi trucks and they start rolling around 3 AM heavily due to all the distribution centers. The noise is absolutely horrific coming from the freeway. The disappointing part, the hotel is aware of this, and still place their guest in these rooms, knowing that there is a strong likelihood that they’ll be awakened by this horrific noise. I got no sleep. It ruined my day it ruined my meeting, and I am very disappointed as a platinum level, frequent traveler..

The rooms and bathroom are awful!! So dated , need to be redone!! Popcorn ceilings, it being so old and dated made it feel old and dirty. I didn’t even want to stay after I saw the rooms!!! The people working there were wonderful!! Every single person was amazing!!! The rooms and bathrooms need to be updated!!!! That part was awful!!!

I travel over 100 night a year and this stay was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The woman who checked me in never smiled and came off with a lot of negative energy. The windows need replacing to keep the I-10 road noise to a minimum. It was super noise even with the AC and TV on. To say the least, I didn’t get any sleep. To top off this terrible experience, there wasn’t any hot water. What a joke for an almost $300 per night hotel. I will never stay at this property again! Very disappointed Diamond Elite IHG member.
