The Best Western Phoenix Goodyear Inn is our go to hotel in the area. We've stayed here numerous times over the last 6 or so years. The staff, particularly Felix, Ashley and Raylyn have gone out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Raylyn keeps a great breakfast room and always willing to help a patron with their breakfast needs. Felix and Ashley manage a pleasant and excellent staff that keep the rooms clean and the hotel maintained. Every staff member has been courteous and professional. The hotel itself is an older building, but well kept. There is ample parking around the hotel, and shopping and restaurants within a mile. A pool and laundry is available, and currently the bar/restaurant is open.

The people that work the phones and desk need to learn to give you the real price up front. The room had no water most of the night. The noise from there in house construction was going on most of the night. And of course there isn’t a manager to help with the issue. My advice. You can pay less for a better room at the competitor! If you stay here, good luck

Room 180 was beautiful, clean and spacious. Ashley was out of this world friendly and remembered us from months ago! She was really super friendly. If any gave her a bad review, I eould be asking myself why, because she is super friendly! ||Breakfast was off the hook! Raelene, gosh sakes, went above and beyond on hospitality. Food was full and fresh. Full hot breakfast and that dining room is spotless.||Pool was beautiful, clear, and serene. ||I have stayed at a lot of Best Westerns and this is by far hands down, one of the best I've stayed at. I almost hate giving great reviews because then they're always booked out after hahahaha however, this place is truly deserving and will be staying here any time in Phoenix!

I stayed here since my travel job was less than a block away. I stayed in the second building 2nd floor. Service was great and the breakfast was super! The attendant in the breakfast room was so considerate! It was winter but the pool looked inviting! I had issues with the dirty carpets and smells from the stairwell and hallway of the 2nd building. Other than that it was above average stay! I walked to and from work daily for a week, often late at night and early morning (read dark out) and the neighborhood could use more streetlights. I’m a guy so didn’t feel threatened. Restaurants are close by especially fast foods!

Loved this hotel because it was SO clean, and the breakfast was really good. We have stayed in very expensive hotels, and this one was the cleanest we have ever encountered. It was not fancy, but very clean and had everything we needed. Ashley at the front desk was very nice and helpful, as was the lady in charge of the breakfast. And the breakfast was very good and filling, with even hot eggs, bacon and waffles. Also with just about any cold or premade items like cereal, yoghurt, toast, fresh fruit, and even strawberries and blueberries and whipped cream for the waffles!! It had a microwave in the room and a fridge and coffee. | The only things that weren't great was the air conditioner was a bit loud, and the water pressure in the shower was not very strong.

Good hotel for our one night. Bed was comfortable, internet was good, we were near the front of the hotel and had no issues with traffic noise. Our next door neighbors were a bit loud but quieted down before 10pm. On-site restaurant. AC/Heat worked well. Hair dryer available and in working condition. Bathroom tub/toilet area was quite small but usable.

I get the impression that there has been some renovation work recently. The rooms and loby etc. were all well looked after. Bed was a bit on the soft side for me. Unfortunatly the airco was very noisy, and you really need it in the heat of Phoenix.|Staff freindly. Breakfast very good.

I recent book this hotel for employee of my company and it  was certainly an eye-opening experience. Despite being assured there were no hidden fees, I was pleasantly surprised upon check-in with a request for a $100 deposit. I suppose it’s a reasonable request—especially in a room so finely appointed that a mere $100 could make or break any potential mishaps.

I’ve stayed at far more expensive hotels where no deposit was required, so this unexpected gesture felt a bit like an insult. It’s as if the hotel assumes guests might wreck their modestly sized rooms. A rather curious approach to customer service, if you ask me.

However, the real highlight of my stay was the conversation I had with the front desk manager. She certainly knows how to make a lasting impression. In a tone that could only be described as briskly efficient, she asked me not to interrupt her and to let her finish speaking—a request I’m sure most guests would find endearing. The conversation was then promptly ended when she hung up the phone.

I frequently visit Phoenix and book rooms for my employees who also stay in the area, but this was the first hotel in the city that managed to leave me with a sour taste. It’s quite an achievement, really. I look forward to finding more accommodating establishments in the future.
