Great place to stay. Very busy with spring training baseball players. Great breakfast. The only issue I have is the climbing day rate for the rooms. I paid $189 the first night and by the third night it was $289. Granted it was Valentine's Day and people wanted a romantic getaway. But it would have been nicer if we paid the first night's rate for all three nights.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past six months. Each time I have been created by friendly staff.I'm given a very comfortable room. I am very particular about cleanliness and have found nothing to complain about in any room, the gym, or the eating area for breakfast. I have not used the pool, so I cannot make comment on it. This hotel is conveniently located a block from spring training field for the Kansas City, Royals and Texas Rangers. I enjoy my morning run (or walk) around the stadium and neighborhood. Surprise, AZ is a clean and safe city located 40 min from the Phoenix airport. I take a Lyft ride to the hotel costing me over $50 but it is cheaper than renting a car from the airport. There are no close restaurants to this hotel but the suite rooms are large enough for you to have your food delivered and enjoy in your room. The rooms come with a coffee maker, refrigerator, and tea. The bathroom is stocked with Dove products, in 8 oz bottles. I highly recommend this hotel if you visiting Surprise, AZ.

This hotel is designed to fit in nicely with the surrounding area. The pool area was immaculately kept up in cleanliness and appearance! Breakfast had a lot of options that changed daily. Staff was friendly, attentive and worked in room services around our schedule. It’s everything you could want, at a great location! Already have other family members planning to visit and stay here.

Only negative I can say is that I wish we stayed more than one night. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious especially for my family of five. Already planning my next visit to surprise and definitely know where I will be staying. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety. Our view was beautiful and The city park is only a few blocks away too.

All the staff I encountered was friendly. The hotel and our room was clean and comfortable. The bed and them pillows put me right to sleep! The breakfast was good. We had a variety to choose from. I will stay again!

The room, breakfast and most everything was just wonderful. The positive is that it is a relatively new construction facility. The negative it that the construction fell short on the sound insulation. The first night was extremely noisy all through the night. The other nights were somewhat better. If I stay again I will ask for the top floor and away from the elevator if possible. If you have ear plugs you'll have a great stay with a great breakfast and very thoughtful and attentive staff.

We booked two rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in Surprise for business purposes. Check in and out was fast and friendly. The room had all the amenities I need when on travel and the room was bright, clean & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and they kept the food fresh and everything was clean and accessible. Any trips to Surprise will find me at this hotel.

I really liked the hotel. The room was large and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the room had both firm and soft pillows. the lobby was large with plenty of seating, large televisions and tables with chargers all made the lobby a great experience.
