New place, and it shows, the order taker didnt know the menu which suggests they dont eat there but.... we ordered the chicken parm, salmon with a side cesars salad and 2 beers and two new england clam chowders to go.. the proteins were presented beautifully and cooked to perfection!! The salmon was flaky and moist the chicken also juicy and tasty. My 1 gripe was the salad was not iced cold. It was a very good salad but needed to be more chilled at serving(and again presentation was very pleasing. Look at the pic). I didnt try the chowder til i got home and OMG i wanted to go back and get more!! Ill be back and you should go too!! The pricing is a bit high but really the food is worth it!! Go there, get great food and make sure to tip well cuz its worth it..

I highly recommend!
I first ordered the keto meal preps and let me tell you they were so good!
I would also recommend him to reps that would provide lunch for our office and everyone love the food!
Most recently I had my moms party catered and Chris was great he worked around the budget I needed and as always the food was delicious! he made us small plate food:

Beef Meatballs | red sauce | shaved Parmesan

Pesto baked chicken | roasted sweet peppers

Chris adds so much flavor to his food!

We hired Cooking from Roots to cater my son's Graduation party. So glad we did! From customizing a menu that would work with our theme, to delivering everything on time. From start to finish Chris was great to work with, and most importantly, my guests would not stop raving at how great the food tasted and how wonderful Chris's presentation looked! His portions were very generous and his rates are very competitive and affordable! We will continue to use Cooking from Roots for all of our catering needs!

My daughter and I loved the "Mommy and Me" cooking class. Chris was so relatable and great with the kids. The food prep, safety pointers, and activities were so great! The food was yummy too. I would definitely recommend Cooking From Roots for the classes and the food!

Great food, healthy and tasty. Been ordering from Chef Chris for both weekly meals and catering. This mother's day had him cater a rib dinner for 11 that was fantastic. Reasonable pricing for consistently good food.

Cooking from roots is outstanding! We had Chris come to our home and he prepared a fabulous four course meal. Aside from the food being nothing short of delicious, it was great to talk with him as he cooked and he shared some preparation tips and educated us in the meantime. My daughter and I had a great experience at the “Mommy and Me Cooking Class” with Christopher Spear. He is a great instructor not only in cooking but also in kitchen safety and etiquette. Great value for the price.
