My boyfriend and I usually enjoyed staying here. The rooms are cute, clean and the manager was fairly nice. Our last stay was not what we expected it to be. We stayed in room #5 and was wakened early in the morning to bedbug bites all over our bodies! We asked for a different room but were refused. Luckily, we got our money back but will no longer be staying at that place again! If you'd like an affordable place to stay in the area, I'd choose the Bear Paws Motel. A lot cleaner and nicer!

I had a very fresh and clean room. It wasn’t huge but it had all the necessities that I needed. I asked the very nice lady at the front desk for a quite room and she gave me a room in the back which was very peaceful and I wasn’t able to hear any noise from the highway. The price was definitely very affordable. I am definitely returning to the Forest House Motel when I plan to visit the White Mountains again!

I am moving to this part of Arizona. While looking for a house, I staying here. Yes it's inexpensive; no it doesn't have every amnenity in the world BUT it is clean, quiet and the people who run it are nice, nice, nice. She works hard keeping it that way. Today I went to the laundry room and it looked like someone shredded a box of tissue ALL OVER THE FLOOR. What a pig!!!! She is NOT YOUR PERSONAL MAID! CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES!!!!!!! Keep doing that & the privilege will be taken away for the rest of us because of YOU! Want to spend $200-300/night, GO THERE!

This place is very good, and clean.
Nice price, and something different from the rest of the other motels.
I love the uniqueness of the rooms, they are all different and very clean.And, the staff members are extremely helpful and nice! 10/10 would stay here again! 🙂

i rented a room here and let me tell you it was the best experience that i ever had! the price was amazing for such a cute room and the owners were very nice. even though the area was close to the road it was still quit. if you ever plan staying in the area then come here!

Room had no hot water carpet smells like urine toilet doesn't flush unless put water down at same time. Carpet coming up and the nails pole your feet
couch smells dirty and old Owners blamed the water not working on our kids.

at this motel i rented a big room with a kitchen and the room was comfortable. were very happy about the kitchen becuase i have children and it was easy to get breakfast for them because we had a kitchen. the have a cheap price and the rooms are cute.

December 22, 2014||We came up here to the Pinetop - Lakeside area for a holiday visit, having not seen this part of the family for two years.||||Choosing this hotel for it's low rates, we paid for a month rental on a very small room, with no bathroom sink, outdated furniture and a t.v. that fried during the visit. ||The owners were constantly entering our room when we left, for unknown reasons, moving stuff, turning off lights etc.||||This week, as of the date of this post, we desperately needed to leave due to the poor conditions and constant invasion of privacy. ||||With 'Two' weeks left on our balance of room rent, the hotel Refuses to do a refund. No waiver was signed of no refunds and this is during the holiday season. The only option is now small claims court, to get the money back and the owners 'proudly' know this. We even called the county attorney and the local newspaper WMI and the veterans association for help. Maybe something will come of this?|| ||End story, DO NOT stay at the Forest House Motel in Lakeside AZ. Please do not make the mistake of thinking this is a false or over exaggerated review. There are better priced and friendlier establishments that will not abuse your trust or your money.||||This hotel does not care about it's customers or the condition of their property or anyone who is an American citizen. All they want is your money, no matter how they have to take it.
