Today our Mesa Besties took me and my husband to your wonderful restaurant for my Birthday. And as usual it exceeded all our expectations.

I had the fabulous trout. Thank you for subbing vegetables for the potatoes..so kind

Rosa had your Bacon wrapped shrimp..
Oh so good, bacon crisp

The men both had medium rare bison burgers
One with bacon and one without...
Both so good .

And thank you for the BIRTHDAY DESERT...
with EXTRA SPOONS.
. IT WAS ENJOYED BY ALL.

Not to minimize Chino Valley but this spot is a gem in the most remote of places and situated in a shopping market center. What a fabulous meal. The attention to detail and and TLC is FANTASTIC. The meals are 5syar preparation and presentation. The cocktails are reasonably priced and equally compliment the food operation as the drinks look like works of art. You won't be disappointed. Only caveat "IT AINT A CHEAP SPOT TO EAT" BE expecting to pay 100 bucks+per couple easily for dinner.

This is my second time at this beautiful upscale restaurant that I have fallen in love with. My husband took me here for a Valentine's Day and the menu was excellent. Our server, Summer was attentive, knowledgeable, and very professional. The ambiance was perfect and the drinks and food were delicious! Anyone giving this place a bad review is just having a bad day.

We were visiting from out of town and took our family there for dinner.
The lady who greeted us had a smile on her face every time she addressed us. She even stopped to have a conversation and asked about where we were from.
I had asked my mojito to be brought with less ice and I received a lemon juice. Instead of reducing the ice only they added more soda to it which ruined the flavor. Sadly the last managing the restaurant was resistant to feedback.
The service was top notch and the food really good as well.
Every place we go we have different experiences and it’s different for everyone. The essence of every business is the way they treat their customers and this is the main reason I go back to places. Especially when go above and beyond to make sure you are happy.
There’s also purse hangers in the tables. That’s definitely a plus!

I doubt anyone who's been to Essence is going to argue that it's big on atmosphere. It is not. However, the quality of the food, the thoughtfully planned menu and the attentive service make the distractions worthwhile. This is a local gem and equal to any of the higher profile restaurants in downtown Prescott. Of special note, dinners ordered for take-out are always meticulously prepared with the same attention to detail as when dining in.

Very fine restaurant with excellent staff. Our server, John, was extremely personable, pleasant, and informative. The Ohana Chicken Sandwich my wife and I shared was delicious. The restroom was clean and well appointed.

Guess what? I have been here twice. Tonight, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary for the third year. 💕 Essence is consistent in their professionalism, presentation of their dishes, and atmosphere. The chef and his wife make their rounds, greeting every table and check in on your experience; extremely personalized. 😇

This place is one of the best in the area. You will not be disappointed. Our server’s name was Hannah; very pleasant and provided a great suggestion for tea.

We ate the New York Strip with mashed potatoes, corn, mushrooms, and shrimp and short ribs with butternut squash ravioli.

For the appetizer, we had the chef’s special and a lobster soup. They were really sweet to bring out ice cream for our anniversary.

You will truly have a great experience here. No pictures because our food was too delicious.

Oh, by the way…there was a lady that gave us all a sample of opera singing. Great job 👏

Pleasant surprise. Never thought I'd come across this nice little restaurant in Chino. My daughter had the braised ribs over butternut squash ravioli and I had the sea bass. Both were wonderful. The cranberry bread pudding put this meal over the top. Definitely worth revisiting.
