We had a taco bar and I was worried there wouldn't be enough food. There was, but to appease me , Cheryl brought a tray of enchiladas and didn't charge us! Everyone loved everything and their chips and salsa are to die for! Thx for the wonderful food!

We hired My Sister Can't Cook Catering for our wedding on 05/20/2017 at the Lazy Oaks Resort, and they were phenomenal. They were on time, courteous to all of our guests, and the food was hot and delicious! They even helped to keep refilling our drink dispensers with our signature drink that we had made ahead of time. Again, the food turned out great, and we kept getting compliments about it for months after. My wife and I would recommend them to anyone.

PHENOMENAL MENU! Both affordable and more formal options available. We definitely had people asking for more and we definitely said no way!

We used this company for a destination wedding at The Greenhouse on Woodland. And such a beautiful venue deserves the extraordinary service and style of Cheryl and My Sister Can't Cook.

First, let me tell you how amazing Cheryl is. Excellent communication the whole way through. There were no hidden fees and everything was in writing and planned and discussed together. Please be aware that you are not her only customer though. She has many irons in the fire.

The food options started at very affordable to formal served dinner. We ended up somewhere in the middle. We had Cajun shrimp and lavender goat cheese and honey with prociutto bruchette. Amazing Mac n cheese casserole, herb roasted potatoes with a wonderful salad with walnuts and apples and blue cheese, nice little breads, a stuffed chicken breast pulled off like I never can and a peppercorn flank steak. We also opted for a dessert table. We weren't going to have a cake and considering cake prices the dessert table was also very affordable. Needless to say, with Cheryls suggestions, what we were able to afford was much fancier than I am.

(A dear friend of ours made us a cake as a gift. It was sooooo good. If you're planning an event in Phoenix please look up sweetstackz. Otherwise I think Cheryl makes cakes too and please give her your business)

We had everything served buffet style calling tables in turns. We did get champagne served as well. We also opted for a bartender to serve safely for cocktail hour and throughout the night. The service was prompt, professional, tidy, well organized and friendly. In addition to being an excellent chef Cheryl's expertly trained staff that can work independently of her direct supervision, while I don't remember their names, they are directly responsible for a well orchestrated and successful wedding. Thank you.

Cheryl also offers varying packages for rehearsal dinners again depending on budget.

I would recommend this business to anyone for any reason.

Family gatherings and family reunions, quincenera, weddings, recommitment ceremonies, birthdays, holiday parties or even if you want excellent food on a weekend getaway without the hassle of cooking.

Horrible, place to eat!!
Food was bland..no flavor!!
I ordered fajitas mixed ( chicken & beef). I was looking forward to a great meal.
I couldn't even smell the aroma of the fajitas. All I got was vegetable fajitas. Barely had meat. It was overloaded with onions and tomatos.
The Carne Asada burrito was a joke!
I didn't even get sour cream,guacamole,or rice..like other Mexican restaurants.
We did day it was awful but the bald guy at the register was more concerned about the $.
Yeah, the sisters can't cook!! Stay away!
They got a star because the waitress was nice!
