Laurence's place was cozy and comfortable! Everything was neat and tidy. The view from the outside was spectacular. This earth house is an unique and wonderful experience. Few things to know about the earth house:

1. There was one restroom outside but it needs some serious attention. It is a compost toilet with neither water nor tissues.
2. There is no sink or running water anywhere to wash face or even brush teeth.
3. Laurence is a nice host, but he was way too drunk to think coherently. He gets too personal and makes a move on his hosts. Upon persistent requests, he finally retired after playing 2 songs (good with his guitar though). It's better to have good company and hide away all courtesies if you find yourself in this situation with him.

Amazing experience if you're staying in monument valley. Not too far off the freeway, but you do need to keep your eyes open to find it. Great scenery and amazing stargazing at night. Need to repeat this detail because it is key. Amazing stargazing at night.

The yard houses a few dogs, puppies and cats. Very friendly. The Hogan itself is warm and cozy and extremely clean. Highly recommend staying here.
