We stayed at the lodge and the creek is right behind there and it was wonderful to hear the water just by opening the doors to the porch. It's very private and way off the road with lots of trails to walk. This was part of a women's wellness retreat and were treated to a massage, foot detox treatment, yoga and wonderful food. The owners, Skip and Rhonda are wonderful people and it was a great and relaxing time for me.

We stayed in the Clearwater and it is amazing! Lots of space for a girls weekend, huge bathroom, an incredible deck, and nice walks to the stream. Skip and Rhonda are incredible hosts and create a beautiful experience (instead of just a stay). They are ready to help with anything you need and are thoughtful in everything they offer. The wine cellar dinner is a MUST. Do yourself a favor and BOOK NOW!

This was our first experience with glamping. We typically stay in B&Bs but we are so pleased we did this. Our hosts Skip and Rhonda made us feel like family and they really have thought of every possible thing you would need and are very responsive to any questions. The creek and shoals are so beautiful and peaceful. You will be amazed at the luxury of the safari tent and all the amenities. We were also blessed to have done the dinner at the lodge in the wine cellar. It will be in our top 10 memories of our lives. If you are unsure about trying this experience you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful time for our stay. Me, my wife and my daughter stayed in the Moondance glamp. The bed is extremely comfortable and the hot tub is amazing. Everything you need for a getaway without the crowd is here. Kayaks and canoes are available and the water is good just to swim. Skip, Rhonda and Dexter are very hospitable. I would highly recommend the destination resort to everyone. Thank you for everything.

We absolutely loved our experience glamping at Destination Resort. I wasn’t so sure about “glamping,” but Skip and Rhonda have made the experience lux! We did a couples weekend at The Music Loft. Super cute, big nice shower, comfortable beds, and the deck has plenty of space for relaxing. The space also felt very private with the mature trees surrounding the glamp. We especially enjoyed sitting in the shoals of Sandy Creek, and can’t wait to come back and canoe / kayak. We missed out on the wine cellar dinner, but we will definitely do that on our next trip! You won’t regret planning a trip to Destination Resort, and Skip and Rhonda are wonderful!

Having a fantastic stay in the Rhondaposa! It's a tent that's also a cabin, so you can hear the rain hitting the canvas, but there's sturdy walls so it doesn't feel like a tent. It's got a hot tub, mini fridge and microwave, as well as a stand up rainfall shower and queen sized bed!. It's not even 15 minutes to Lake Martin, but far enough away that you don't hear constant traffic or boat noise. Nothing but birds and cicadas, and the music from a Bluetooth speaker that was provided. The owner, Skip, personally welcomed me and showed me how everything works. They also provided snacks and water, as well as fresh coffee beans and all the usual linens and toiletries. Will definitely have to come stay here again, it's definitely better than staying at the casinos!

Our stay at the Destination Resort Glamping site was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of the woods, this incredible outdoor space provided the perfect backdrop for our family to celebrate two birthdays and an anniversary. The serene beauty of the forest, with its towering trees and gentle breezes, created an atmosphere of peace and tranquility that we all desperately needed.

The spacious glamping accommodations were impeccably maintained, offering just the right blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. We spent our days exploring the natural surroundings, enjoying the fresh air, and reconnecting with one another in a way that only nature can nurture. Evenings were spent around the fire pit, sharing stories, laughter, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge shout-out goes to Skip and Rhonda, the amazing owners and hosts, whose thoughtful touches made our stay truly special. From the warm welcome upon our arrival to the little surprises they left for our celebrations, their kindness and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of our experience. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.
