There’s no other way to say it: The place has gone down the tubes. (While the pricing has only gone up.) I have been staying at The Westin Downtown Phoenix for 14 years for business. This will unfortunately be my last stay. Nothing has been updated since the hotel opened. We had to move rooms TWICE in two days because of all the damage. Drawers falling out of shelving. Glass shower doors STUCK closed, hinges falling off. Water damage in walls and ceilings. Missing key fobs on outside of room door. Broken lamps and HOLES in drapery. I have so many photos, I can’t upload them all. Management is no help, they just shuffle you to another room (without even checking it) each time there is a problem. No idea how things got so bad so fast here, but I can’t see myself ever staying again. I will say, the day to day staff are very kind humans and apologized profusely. Even they admitted things were looking pretty rough lately, which says a lot.

Great hotel downtown. I stay there frequently. The location is great, the staff is wonderful, and the rooms are clean and modern. Upgrades are usually available for Bonvoy members. Very nice workout room and club lounge. I have recommend this hotel while attending any events downtown. My only wish is that the Club lounge would be open on the weekends; it is only open weekdays. A big shout out to the valet guys as they are accommodating and on time.

I stood at this location from 18th to the 22nd of December. The room was beautiful. Had beautiful closet with doors, desk, and a very comfortable couch. Love the idea of leaving the key by the door for the lights! Very good. Central location everything was in walking distance.
My only constructive criticism would be that on my last day we were going to leave our bags with front desk because our flight didn’t leave until later that night. We went to front desk and were told that everyone was at lunch and no one would be able to take our bags until they returned. Wouldn’t it be more efficient to have staggered lunch times?
The staff outside of that were sweethearts and very informative.

Overheard someone complaining about the parking and valet fee. If you stay at just about any hotel in a downtown area of any major city and don’t know to ask about parking $$$ that’s on you buddy. The hotel stay was very comfortable and valet was fast and friendly. No complaints here.

Always a fantastic stay. Whenever I need to be in downtown Phoenix this is my first choice. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean rooms and have plenty of space. Great amenities at the hotel. Good food from room service with quick delivery.

The Westin is mine and my wife’s go to spot in Downtown PHX. Anytime we are here, this is where we stay. The rooms are comparable to other hotels of its nature in price. The hotel always smells exceptionally clean, the staff is kind, and the rooms are big and spacious. Plus, the amenities are top notch, and there’s even an above-average restaurant on site. The location is exceptional as it’s within walking distance of all that downtown Phoenix has to offer, including the stadiums. We will definitely be staying again.

Our room does not reach the 4 star standard. No shampoo but with two body wash. And after we claim twice, still nobody come help on that. And only one bathrobe and one bottle of water when we first go into the room. The worst thing is on our bed there is a signed breakfast order from last customer. I could not accept this as this is Westin and I paid a lot of money for my comforts and trust to this place. I feel so disappointed.

The service was exceptional across the board. The valet was prompt and efficient, while Kayla at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Even the security manager took a personal interest in my stay, inquiring about my experience.

The Westin Downtown Phoenix has undoubtedly won me over. Its commitment to providing a luxurious and comfortable experience is unparalleled. The only minor suggestion I have is to allow the food credit to be used for room service. After a long drive, it would have been wonderful to unwind in my room with a delicious meal.

Despite this small detail, my stay was flawless. The Westin Downtown Phoenix has set a new standard for my hotel experiences, and it will be my exclusive choice for future visits to Phoenix.
