We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Starlight Pines! The owners were so friendly and accommodating, had great suggestions for local things to do, and prepared delicious breakfasts for us. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had all of the amenities we could have wished for. It even had a shaded balcony which was great for relaxing and taking in the view. The common area downstairs was very cosy and great to sit and read in. We had to leave very early in the morning on our last day, so Maxx very thoughtfully prepared a delicious breakfast to go for us. We will definitely stay here if we are ever in Flagstaff again!

We had an amazing one night stay at Starlight Pines B&B (and wish we stayed for much longer!). The owners were very friendly, greeting us at the door and helping us with our luggage. We stayed in the Lily room which was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. This room has its own private balcony as well! We loved all of the sweet snacks and beverages that were available to us throughout the stay. Morning coffee service was offered prior to a delicious breakfast that we enjoyed on the front porch. This was the most relaxing getaway!

My wife and I went here for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. First, the hosts Maxx & Monica were the nicest owners we have ever experienced in our 50+ years of traveling. They were friendly, attentive, and informative. Second, the accommodations were first class for a very reasonable price. This included not only our room but a lovely front porch where we not only had our breakfast, but also just sat outside in the afternoon and evening . Third, the breakfasts that Maxx made were different every day and delicious and very filling. Finally, I left my wedding ring in the bathroom the morning we left and Maxx texted me within an hour that he had found it and was mailing it to my home. What great service. If you are ever in the Flagstaff area you will do yourself a disservice if you don't stay here. One thing to note, they do not have televisions in either the bedrooms or living room.

If you are ever in the Flagstaff area, there is no other place to stay besides The Starlight Pines. It truly became a home away from home when we stayed for 5 days while exploring Arizona. Max and Monica are the quintessential hosts. Besides being so helpful with our daily plans, they delivered tea and coffee service to the room before a wonderful breakfast served on the front porch. Delicious cookies were always available and on a few mornings, they had a hearty breakfast packed and ready to go when we left early for our excursions. The bed was comfortable, linens pristine and our suites were very clean. Drinks and snacks were available anytime of day. You could have as much privacy as you liked with access to a private porch or join others in the common areas or swing on the front porch. We can’t wait to come back!

Our experience at the Starlight Pines B+B last June was AMAZING!!! My wife and I look for well rated B+Bs when we travel and planned a restful 3 night break at the Starlight Pines in Flagstaff as a 'homebase' while visiting Page, Sedona, Flagstaff, and then entering the Grand Canyon. WHAT A GREAT CHOICE WE MADE!. Maxx and Monica are the best hosts and truly treat you like family during your stay with excellent recommendations for restaurants and local activities (like Walnut Canyon and using the east Grand Canyon entrance). They pay attention to every detail... from the delicious morning 'coffee fairy' treats to the adult beverages and brownies available to help unwind at the end of the day they cover every base! Our Dragonfly suite was extremely comfortable, and it had every accommodation we could dream of. We really enjoyed the babbling brook cricket sound machine (so much we ordered one for our home bedroom) and soaking in the tub... We wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to our return! Best B&B experience to date and we’ve visited lots. Host and hostess went above and beyond, even offering and washing & drying our sopping wet hiking clothes because we got caught in a downpour. Getting up before the crack of dawn to make us a homemade Togo breakfast for our hike in the Grand Canyon. Each morning was a new culinarily delight. Super value for top notch service. Wish we could have stayed another week. Definitely a repeat, we’ll be back

Prepare to feel totally pampered when staying here. The rooms are delightful and have wonderful ambiance, one with a wood-burning fireplace and another with an electric fireplace. The beds are very comfortable and have the most luxuriously soft sheets. The rooms have the quaintness of olden times, with a claw foot bathtub and Tiffany lamps, but with all the modern amenities. The breakfasts are delicious and there are always freshly baked cookies and chocolate candies available to satisfy your sweet tooth. Max and Monica are great hosts and make everyone feel at home and truly spoiled.

This is a hidden jem in Flagstaff not located downtown. The location was less than 10 minutes from everything we did over the weekend from dinner to hikes and Sunday mass. Aside from the location, it's the staff that make the place. Bre and Madison could not have made our stay any better. They are engaging and knowledgable and treat you like a member of the family. The breakfast on the porch (until it gets too cool) is a great way to begin the day. Food is tasty and plentiful. They also have plans to serve indoors once the weather changes. We will definately return.
