I have had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel and am finally getting around to a review, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a serene ambiance that made me feel instantly relaxed. The hotel’s design and attention to detail were impeccable, offering both comfort and style in every corner.

One of the highlights of my stay was the brunch experience. The spread was nothing short of spectacular, offering a variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. The quality of the food was top-notch, with fresh ingredients and flavors that made every bite a delight. The atmosphere was lively yet intimate, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing meal.

However, what truly made this brunch unforgettable was the talented violinist who played live music during the meal. The music added an elegant and soothing touch to the entire experience, creating a beautiful backdrop for conversation and relaxation. I was especially impressed when the violinist took my request and played a piece that was dear to my heart. It was a wonderful personal touch that made the experience even more memorable.

Overall, my time at the hotel was nothing short of amazing. The combination of excellent service, exquisite food, and the magical touch of live music made it a truly special experience. I can't wait to return and enjoy another unforgettable brunch with the violinist's beautiful melodies!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. We booked the Mountain Casita King room and it was fantastic! Very spacious and a nice view from the patio. Bed was great and the bathroom was as well.

I had made a small request when I booked of having a certain drink delivered at the beginning of our stay and they came through and didn’t even charge me for it! That’s great service with attention to detail!!!

The food from their restaurant was amazing. We also went to the spa and both had massages and they were great and so relaxing. Will def come again.

This was our second stay at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain and we were blown away...again. While it's not the glitziest 5 star hotel you can find, the warm hospitality, comfortable and clean rooms, and elite amenities provide an incredible experience. As someone who likes to rent a car for the convenience of getting around AZ, I appreciated the hotel's offer for complimentary parking and conveniently located parking lots adjacent to each block of rooms. The hotel pool is a great way to relax, with friendly staff making sure you're comfortable and taken care of. My massage was great and the spa amenities are clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The room was the best part, very clean, cool in temperature, large, and with the most comfortable bed and sheets you can find. This hotel is one of our favorites and we'll definitely be coming back!

Such a lovely resort! We took it over this weekend with several hundred and it was as always something we all enjoyed. My husband of thirty years and I have had some of our favorite times here watching the sunset or Sharing a nice bottle of wine or going to the spa together. Our adult children especially enjoy it.

Went here for dinner. Had come many times before so knew the level of service was good. Waited about 20 minutes just for a non alcoholic drink. Then another HOUR and 15 min for food. Waitress was extremely rude and had an attitude the entire time. Called me “hunny” in the beginning which drove me crazy as she was maybe in her 20’s. Manager came to apologize and said our ticket got lost. Said food would be right out. Food did not in fact come out for another 25 minutes. Waitress never once came out to apologize or check on us and ask how everything was. Finally at an hour 45 min.. we received our food which was sub par. When we confronted the waitress she said the cooks had to get a large private party out before ours. Nothing about a missing ticket. We were so shocked we couldn’t even speak. She never came back after that or spoke to us again besides to silently drop off the bill. I’m not sure if this restaurant is under new ownership but that waitress should be terminated immediately as it was the most appalling service I have ever received. I will not be back to give my business again. Over 2 hours for 8 o’clock reservation. Left after 10 PM. One appetizer and two meals and no drinks. Not even busy. Disturbing!

Unbelievable views and dining! We had the best time sitting on the patio with the fire table and hanging out in the infinity edge spa! We loved our stay so much we only left the villa for golf and an atv tour, all of which was coordinated by the incredible concierge at the resort!

Everyone else can talk about how clean the rooms are (ours was spotless) and how great the resort amenities are (we enjoyed Jade, the pools, and the spa). I'm going to focus on the little things. They had smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the rooms (most places I've been don't have the carbon monoxide part). The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The bathroom has an exhaust fan and the flush is high powered. You're able to cast to the TV so you can watch what you want. Those little things made the trip that much more enjoyable.

Hotel Review: A Perfect Stay with Exceptional Service and Amenities

Our stay at The Sanctuary Camelback Mountain was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an incredibly smooth check-in process despite a major accident on my part. Basically, we completely forgot to book our 2nd room for our girl's trip and did not realize it until we were CHECKING IN. Talk about stress. Jamie was incredible...she completely handled the situation and never made us feel stupid (despite the mistake being out of..well...stupidity). She was SO hospitable and handled it with zero stress. She then offered us a glass of bubbly rose to make us feel better (which worked). I would bet Jamie runs the whole hotel chain one day, watch out Gurney's CEOs!

The location of the hotel is unbeatable—situated in a picturesque area, it provided easy access to both local attractions and serene nature spots. Whether we wanted to explore the nearby sights or simply relax, everything was conveniently close.

One of the highlights of our stay was the tennis courts. Well-maintained and easily accessible, they were perfect for both casual games and more competitive matches. The hotel even offered equipment rentals which made packing a breeze.

After a day of activities, the spa was the perfect retreat. The ambiance was serene, and the treatments were top-notch. From the soothing massages to the luxurious steam rooms, it was a rejuvenating experience that left us feeling completely refreshed.

Overall, Sanctuary exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of outstanding service, prime location, excellent sports facilities, and a world-class spa makes it a top choice for travelers. We can’t wait to return!
