One of the most unique experiences I have ever been a part of. We were able to do some relaxing activities. These included massages, facials, body scrubs and much more. We thoroughly enjoyed the artistic activities such as painting and sculpting. They have so much to do and experience! Definitely needed more days to keep exploring, but nevertheless the time we spent there was well worth it!

This place blew my expectations away! Lynn is phenomenal, get her as the planner for your experiences because she is absolutely the most helpful and knowledgeable person. Mother's Blessing with Emilia and Power of the Pendulum were mind-blowing experiences and they are very special human beings. Tony was the best host and the asst manager, he made the trip beyond incredible!! The experiences are great -- from the classes to the spa services. Go there and try spa services different than the spas back home, you can get a massage anywhere but the energy healing experiences are next level and the classes with Carolyn will change the way you think and do life.

1. ⁠The food was way below expectations for us with barely any options for dietary restrictions. You would imagine a place pushing healthy eating would be able to accommodate a vegetarian diet better but it was just bad most of the times. The smoothie bar is what got us through.
2. The room felt pretty outdated. The mattress especially was not comfortable at all. We slept terribly during our stay there and the showers in the standard king rooms were just badly designed and cramped.
3. ⁠Service was ok at best and usually just bad. I had a few questions before my stay and kept being passed around on the phone with no one answering the questions with a yes or a no. 2 separate times I ended up back with the initial person only for them to say that they would call me back. They never did.
4. ⁠For a place that pretends and advertises wellness and switching off from the world, I found it strange that absolutely everything at the resort was on sale and multiple signs continuously reminded me of that. We had 3 separate instances where people leading one of the classes tried to sell us their art or other paid classes.

5. The property is beautiful and just walking around the property, taking in the landscape was very relaxing.

6. The spa services were exceptional. It washed honestly the best part of the stay. I would honestly recommend a day pass to the spa and skip the stay which is just not worth the ridiculous premium

The food was another highlight: excellent quality with a wide variety of delicious and healthy choices to suit all preferences.||||Every moment at Miraval felt inspiring and uplifting. I am writing this review to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the issue of my refund of a $3,300 deposit for the Miraval wellness retreat I had initially planned to attend. The circumstances surrounding this situation have unexpectedly caused me additional stress, which seems ironic considering the purpose of a wellness retreat is to alleviate such pressures.

While I understand that cancellation policies are necessary and I had acknowledged them when making the reservation. However, I am disheartened to learn that a refund is not being offered despite the timing of this situation is particularly coincidental and super frustrating.

I thought the purpose of a wellness retreat was to promote mental and physical well-being, yet the current circumstances have left me feeling even more stressed and burdened. It is disheartening to have anticipated a rejuvenating experience only to be met with additional worries and financial setbacks.

I have requested several refunds with the primary contact, Anna Lisa and the senior leadership team. No one seems to care (for a wellness retreat) and I have only been offered an invitation to return, using my credit. I have no desire to ever stay here. I was told my refund cannot be completed because there is no way to cut a check in that way. BS!

I hope that you can empathize with my predicament and acknowledge the unexpected stress that has resulted from this situation and you will plan to NOT stay here in the future! I’ve been ignored for now two years since I’ve been trusting this initially.

My short summary is that everything at Miraval felt manufactured. the staff is polite but not helpful, the room i stayed in felt cold and unwelcoming and the programming was comically scripted. The pool looks dingy and generally i found much of the report was dated design and signage wise. But here’s a water bottle and sleeping bag for your phone so go and be zen!

The spa was nice but busy and undersized for the number of people crammed in moving between services (the attendant trying to keep up with it all w as patient and lovely).

If you have the money to spend at Miraval just book one of the many options for high end resorts on the west coast with a great spa and pretty views and turn off your own phone. It’ll probably cost less, be more enjoyable, have heartfelt hospitality, and give more authentic vibes.

It's such a beautiful place. From the moment you arrive, the staff makes sure you have an exceptional experience. The rooms are gorgeous. Beds feel like sleeping in a cloud. Classes are amazing. Experiences are unforgettable.

Need to recharge or refresh or just need a getaway where you can focus on you? Miravel is it for all of it. And so much more. Every part of the resort is designed with intention to help you melt away the stress you may carry and find the relaxation you need. From the beautiful landscaping to the simple yet healing sound of water
everywhere you walk. Add to that the phenomenal customer service and attention to detail. Like remembering your name. As simple as that. And yet so welcoming and comforting.

My favorites were the smoothie bar where I went everyday for lattes and smoothies. All served with a smile. (Once even served with a dance. Thank you, Gaby.) All delicious. The staff are there because they believe in the mission of Miravel.And speaking of missions. It is also this resort's mission to support the cancer community. That is how I was so lucky to spend time at Miravel. Because of their generosity and kindness which they do year after year by supporting the annual conference for cancer patient advocates called Escape to Thrive. You will never forget your time there. They make sure you go home rested with your heart full of beautiful memories.
