One of the best places I've stayed! The views are breathtaking. You can see the view from just sitting on the front porch. There are plenty of chairs to sit on. We ate lunch everyday on the screened in back porch, which also had plenty of comfortable chairs and a table to eat at. The inside of the home is warm and welcoming. They have plenty of serving dinnerware. One whole cabinet is spices!
We are planning on coming back!!❤️

Owner, Eulene Cloud, is a warm and gracious host and she makes the best biscuits my husband and I have ever tasted! Her daughter, Kristie handles the reservations and she makes it delightfully easy. The Alpine House is beautifully decorated and the view from the front bedrooms is spectacular! We enjoyed staying in the "Bird Room" so named not only for the decor, but also for the beautiful birds that frequently visit the bird feeders right outside the window. We kept the window open all night so we could awaken to the sweet sound of the birds singing outside. The inn is just 29 miles from Chattanooga, but we enjoyed exploring all the small towns closer to the inn. Regardless of where you go, the scenery is beautiful! We left today more relaxed and refreshed than we have ever been during a trip. We will definitely go back again!

This is an amazing bed and breakfast. The southern hospitality provided by Eulene and Kristie was superb!! Eulene told us the history of the Alpine House and I felt I was there when all of the renovations took place! My fiancé and I enjoyed the clean and beautiful "Bird Room". The breakfast was great, especially the biscuits! All I can say about the view is WOW!! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend the Alpine House for a quiet, gorgeous weekend!!

Stayed here for a week on vacation with my wife. Breakfast was great, day after day. The view was amazing, especially the morning when a dense fog covered parts of the valley below. It was so surreal. Most of our days were spent in Chattanooga, just 30 minutes away. The worst thing about our vacation was the Chattanooga roads, which made me even happier that I was staying at Alpine House, and not somewhere in town. Beautiful house, wonderful owner, amazing view, and great food. Will definitely try to come back next time we're in the area.

We absolutely LOVED our stay in your beautiful home! House was clean and just felt like home as soon as we walked in. The views were spectacular especially early in the morning. We would definitely stay again.

Now here are our only two “complaints”
1. The neighbors are creepy nosey. Made it very clear that they had eyes on you from the moment we arrived. I understand that the houses are close together and they never know who is staying but they are kinda rude.
2. We stayed HOT the whole time we were here. All the doors and windows are taped shut with signs stating “Do not Open” and the thermostat was lock at 72 degrees and the only fans we had were ceiling fans. So although the beds were comfortable our nights were miserable because it was to hot to sleep good.

Overall we highly recommend the house. But for safe measure each new guest should bake the neighbors an apple pie and bring yourselves a few box fans.

Quaint and quiet with breathtaking view! We enjoyed watching the sunset out our bedroom door or in the swingset out front. Eulene was very hospitable and made sure our stay was exactly what we needed. We were able to take trips into Chattanooga and come back to the Alpine House to rest and relax. Hanging out on the porch in the morning with our coffee and watching the fog roll over the valley was a surreal experience. We are already trying to figure out when we can return!

Alpine House provides a nice relaxing getaway from traffic, noise, and congestion. Overlooking the TN river valley it provides a view that seems to go on forever. We found it extremely comfortable and very clean. Eulene prepared some fine country breakfasts too and it was a complete joy to visit with her during our two night stay. We had never stopped in this part of Tennessee/Alabama before but now we are planning a return trip to do a bit of exploring. Of course, we will be staying at Alpine house.

I've only stayed in one b&b before this one. It was ok, but probably wouldn't stay in another one. It just wasn't comfortable. Then I booked Alpine in order to attend the National Cornbread Festival. We LOVED this place. Eurlene is a wonderful host, and a great cook. I would stay again in a heartbeat. The view over the valley is beautiful. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable too. If you book it, tell them Santa says hi!!!!
