A hidden gem in Sedona with many hiking trails of varying difficulty levels. I took one trail down to the river, which was beautiful; it took me 15 minutes to go down and 25 minutes to come back up. The river was lovely, and the water was refreshing. I visited around 4 p.m., and it wasn’t crowded—the weather was perfect. The whole area is stunning and great for photos. Another trail I tried was along the edge, which was nice but a bit challenging if you have pets or children. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re in Sedona.

This is a little bit tricky to walk down to if you're not able body. The walkway is kind of steep. The view is spectacular and worth it.
The parking lot is small and uneven. You need a parking pass.
We did a short hike, mostly flat and easy.

We went on a weekday late afternoon and had plenty of parking. Easy hike with trials to choose from.

If you drive 89A north to Flagstaff, or south from, you pass the bridge. It makes for a interesting picture, as the creek is actually below in the distance.
Parking is EXTREMELY limited ( USFS does not care about improving parking at trail heads, ANYWHERE...be careful, there's a HUUGE pothole) and there is a TINY lot that's difficult to enter or exit.
The positive is the Wilson Mtn trail. Write this down. Canyon-down, mtn-up.
Wilson Canyon trail is boring and pointless.
Wilson Mtn is difficult trail with unbeatable views of West Sedona at the top.
*If you turn right though...it's flat and you can follow it to the north side and look up 89A at the end of the trail ( about 25 extra minutes ).

To the left when you park is Ship Rock. There is an obvious trail that goes up around the right side, giving you a cool photo opp.on top.
*Pay attention. Google "sundown," so you don't lose the light when coming down.
Be careful. Be smart.

We actually drove by here as it is around a blind bend from one side. After a u-turn, we made our way back. The other issue is parking as it is limited. You will also need a parking pass to stay.

We didn't go too far up the path as we didn't have a pass at that time. I did quickly take a walk under the bridge. The path is a bit hairy there, but can be managed if you watch your step. You really get a nice view of the water below from that path.

On the higher paths, there are some wonderful views. Even on the otber side of the road, you can see the snowy rock formations. We will be back another time as I really want to walk under the bridge.

A beautiful view. If you just want to park and go down the stairs for a great view it's beautiful. You can also hike the trail that has different paths of it.

Parking is extremely limited, and a parking pass is required. Great views of the bridge and mountains with trail options. We didn't venture far from the lot, but I did not see picnic tables or bathrooms, not much beyond the great views. It is easy to miss the entrance, and a turnaround isn't easy on the winding road.

Amazing place to visit and hike. But good luck finding parking, there are like only 10 spots available. Parking pass fee is $5 and is for all day.
