We stayed at TLF. Rooms were clean, plenty of towels, sheets, and bedding. Kitchen well stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils needed to prepare meals. They even provide a kennel/food and water bowls. You provide food for you and your pets. Areas to walk your pets, please clean up after them.

Housekeeping came knocking and shouting through the door early! When we told them we were checking out they wanted to know what time... Checkout was 1100 they were knocking before 0900. DoD property with no breakfast?! Crap directions and an attitude from one of the "ladies" at the front desk when I asked where the ice machine was. Disappointed this time. AF reservations online were terrible.

This place was over the top clean!! No dust collecting in corners, no broken tiles, no dents in walls, no stains on drapes, carpet or bath towels and washcloths. Washer and dryer for your use were very clean. We were on the third floor loved sitting on the large community balcony. The front desk staff always had a smile and ready to help. I will be back, had an excellent experience.

An excellent hotel to stay at when visiting the base! Friendly staff, the rooms are always clean, and complimentary coffee and hot chocolate are made fresh each morning. There is free on-site laundry, as well as a small gym. Parking is plentiful, and the covered balconies are great for when you want to sit outside out of the sun. The mountain views are lovely as well. Each Christmas, they decorate the hotel beautifully. Conveniently within walking distance to the: BX, Commissary , Burger King, Bank of America, gas station, Benko Fitness Center, and DFAC.There is an Amazon pickup locker located across from the DFAC.

Here me out as a retired military veteran I take no pleasure in marking this new facility down. The exterior is large and inviting, the people hands down some of the best I have encountered on or off base.
The actual room clean but immensely dated and lacking any modern touches at all besides the toilet they look like modern low flow fixtures. The lines of the room very modular and cookie cutter like, it took me back 20 years when I first came in honestly and put me in the mindset of deployment mode of which I necessarily did not what to relive.
But here are the most disappointing points of the room for me the hairdryer is still present. Why? I mean all these years later, you're still putting these things in this modern looking facility along with a cheap microwave. Come on, do better!!

But most disappointing all that money was allocated for this new build and you give us a shower curtain still? Most off-base facilities around this price range you would not see that, maybe Vegas has spoiled me; why put that in a room whose occupants place their very lives on the line and in many cases receive very little compensation in return.
I am speaking of the enlisted force of all branches because we know of the imbalance between the ranks of all forces that still exists, more specifically, the amenities offered between the ranks. In these trying times, leveling the playing field when it comes to leisure type items may also help with recruiting overall in the long run.
Would I stay again yes of course I earned that right all I am saying is can we move forward in design and modernization in areas that do not have to be so military forward? The force has changed a great deal not sure if the same principles applied 20 to 30 years ago are still applicable to every facet of today's professional military member.

This was probably one of the nicer lodging places. I've stayed at in my almost 20 year career. granted. It's almost new, so it hasn't had time to go to hell and be ignored by the department of defense.

The rooms are all individual rooms which The junior enlisted definitely appreciated

We have stayed here at least twice. The first time was great, this last time made my family never want to stay again. The staff was horrible. The cleaning staff apparently only cleans every 7 days. If you need your sheets cleaned They tell you to do it yourself. They don't even have complimentary detergent, also could have given complimwntary water. We also were told we would have a room on the hotel but were given a room away from the hotel. No ice machines, no vending and a good walk. The sheets had human and dog hair in it. My husband is injured and can not walk long distances and we were placed in the back so he had to walk a longer distance to his room. It was just a horrible service. Oh They also got rid of breakfast so that's not convenient.
Good things is the hotel was decently clean. We had no issues booking. They have a park near our room and it's great for our kids.

I really like this hotel! It's clean, affordable, staff is friendly, and there is lots of open parking. It's across from the BX, Commissary and Burger King. Really easy to get in and out of Tucson and the airport. I decided to stay here because I'm a military spouse and have access to the base amenities. I like being on base because I feel safe and people are quiet and professional. Plus, everything that I need is here and I don't have to leave unless I choose to. This is a newer hotel and ceilings are high, the room feels spacious and I have a nice big bed, plus a chair and a desk. I like that there is a fridge too where I kept my leftovers and a microwave to heat them up. Shower is clean and has a sprayer, which is helpful. Downstairs there is a little shop where I can grab snacks to charge on my room. Super easy to call and book too! Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.
