The Hampton Inn and Suites was a nice, clean hotel, with friendly staff, decent breakfast, and spacious rooms. The room was clean and everything functioned perfectly. The one downside was that there was a tremendous buildup of static electricity through the carpeted halls, so when you touched the elevator buttons or your door handle, you received quite a jolt! Not sure if anything can be done about that, so just be prepared.

The inside and outside of the hotel are dirty. Dirty lobby, hallways and the elevators looked as if they had not been cleaned in weeks. Front, side and back doors were dirty. They need to pay more attention to things like this as it gives off a bad first impression

Frustratingly this hotel was booked by my employer so I had no say in the matter. I’ll start small, the location is very awkward as you’ll have to pull a U-turn down the street to get in the parking lot. The parking lot itself isn’t much of a lot, it’s two narrow rows on either side of the hotel. I suppose these are minor but with the rest of my experience it starts to build up.

The layout of the room is odd with a desk jutting out in the middle of the room (some of the photoshopped pictures show this) along with the bed being incredibly firm. I’m aware that up until this point these have been minor things that really aren’t worth writing a review. This is what set me over the edge.

Upon arrival, I get checked in and go to my room. I walk down the mini hallway and turn to the bed…there’s an adult sized cockroach on the bed, great start. After seeing one I started to notice more and more during my stay, they’re everywhere. They’re right outside the hotel, they’re in the set of double doors in the back entrance. I killed multiple during my stay, it’s just off putting. Also, housekeeping never came once, I stayed from Wednesday night to Saturday morning. On top of that there was no one at the front desk when I ‘checked’ out at 10:00am. Just an awful experience and I really wish I had more input where I have to stay when I work out of town.

My husband and I really enjoyed having a room with a beautiful mountain view that we could wake up to every morning. The staff was very friendly and our room was so spacious and clean. We loved every minute of our stay here. We will definitely stay here for our next vacation.

I had been sleeping on an inflatable bed for a week and then drove 9 hours. They greeted me, provided 2 bottles of water, the room was ready and clean. After dinner, the bathroom allowed me to shed the road dust and relax. The TV worked fine but the bed was terrific! Best nights sleep in a week. Next morning nice breakfast & great coffee.

Overpriced. I paid more to stay here hoping for a nice room and was disappointed. The location is close to Saguaro East Rincón Mountain District.

BE AWARE OF THIS HOTEL AND PARKING. I PARKED WHERE THERES A BOLT LIFTED UP AND WHEN I BACKED MY CAR IT COMPLETELY TORN OFF MY LOWER BUMPER. I TOLD THE MANAGER ABOUT THIS AND DIDNT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND SEEM TO CARE AT ALL. WHAT MAKES THE SITUATION WORSE THAT THERES A SIGN WHERE IT EXPLAINS THE MANAGER ISNT RESPONSIBLE IF PARKED THERE SO THEY KNOW ITS UNSAFE, AND INSTEAD OF THE HOTEL MANAGER GETTING IT RESOLVED THEY DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. A LAWSUIT IS COMING SOON.
