First time in Tucson and stayed here because of a good deal I found. I’m really happy I did. The hotel was well maintained and the staff was super friendly. The price paid was a great bargain for the quality of the rooms and the service. I loved that there was a hot tub for me to use after my long days of hiking the various trails in the area. I also appreciated that the hotel read my booking notes and ensured the room they assigned me met my need for quiet. I didn’t get to use the free breakfast as I was out the door too early, but there is a great coffee shop in the same plaza as they hotel that I was able to buy breakfast at easily without wasting any time on my adventure. My only complaint about this hotel is that the motion sensor timer in the bathroom is too short as it shut the lights off each day when I was in the middle of taking a shower. Despite this, I loved this hotel and would stay again.

This is a GREAT place to stay, especially if you bring your pet. The rooms are decent sized but can be noisy from the pool crowd and from adjacent room noise. The breakfast has local fare and is pretty tasty. You can't beat the location. It's right on a trail with good running and biking and is within walking distance of great shops, restaurants, and farmers' markets. The staff was very friendly and courteous. We will likely stay here every time we visit Tucson.

We are Hilton Diamond and stay in lots of Homewood suites and this one was particularly nice. Can't comment on previous reviewer but our 1 BR suite was spotless and appeared brand new with clean carpet, etc. All the elements for good sleep were present: Room was quiet. Blackout shades. AC was powerful. Front desk folks were pleasant and helpful and breakfast did the job. Location was excellent. Tucked away in a quiet part of an upscale shopping center. Nice restaurants nearby. An extra bonus was the walking trail which was literally adjacent to the parking lot and was a great place to stretch legs after a day travelling. No need to look anywhere else when staying in Tucson.

Positive: Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable and there was always parking. Loved the walking trail behind the hotel. Negative: Ceilings/floors are definitely not sound proof. The person in the room above us was constantly walking around at 3-4:30 in the morning. They had a farmer?s market on the weekends which blocks off part of the streets near the hotel and creates traffic

Stayed for several weeks and really enjoyed the location. The hotel is well maintained, and the staff are very friendly. The rooms were comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job. Breakfast was well stocked, Wednesday social hours are nice too.

The best part is having 3 awesome restaurants with live music, artist market, fitness and a great coffee shop/bakery at your front door. The hotel is located on the Rillito River trail which goes for miles in each direction, bring your bikes.

Do the people who give poor reviews think they are staying at the Ritz? This place is awesome. We came on Wednesday before Thanksgiving so we were able to enjoy their Wednesday night social. The snacks included cheese and crackers and a salad bar, plus soup. The soup was delicious- so surprising! Wine and beer included in the social, too. Very pet friendly- even cat treats and their favorite toys available at the front desk!! We had no issues with parking and really enjoyed going to the restaurants in the plaza. Also make sure to check out the olive oil place.

Positive: I loved my room. It had so much space and so comfortable with everything I needed. The workers were so nice. It was all extremely clean and so bright all the way around. Negative: It would have been nice to have an ice machine on the first floor instead of having to go up to the second or third floor.

We recently stayed at Homewood Suites while in Tucson for a long football weekend. We’ve stayed at Homewood Suites in other locations before, and in comparison this one seemed smaller in all aspects, but that is not an issue at all. The room was still good sized with everything we needed, the exercise room and breakfast room were never crowded, and the pool was wonderful- actually big enough to swim in! Breakfast had a good variety of choices and was plentiful. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful with our touristy questions. The location is a straight 20 minute drive from the airport and great for access to the University. The immediate area (across the parking lot) has 3 terrific restaurants, a coffee shop/bakery, and some shops. On the weekend there is also a wonderful outdoor craft fair from 10-3.
