First time to Blue Ridge, Georgia and the Blue Ridge Inn Bed and Breakfast could not have been a better place to stay. This historic Inn is very clean and well appointed. Our room, the Appalachian, was comfortable with a separate entrance and porch rocking chairs outside our door. The owner and staff are very friendly. Check in, check out, and all communications are great. Daily breakfast is delicious. The Inn is across the street from the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Restaurants and shopping are all within close walking distance. Thanks to the Blue Ridge BnB team for a wonderful stay and we look forward to our return.

This is the most charming Inn I've ever stayed at. John and his team were so welcoming. We immediately felt at home. Both porches were cozy and relaxing. The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms had everything we needed. We spent some quality time with Blue the porch kitty. She was also very sweet and welcoming. Can't wait to go back next year!

My husband and I were at the Inn for 2 nights and we had a such an amazing experience. From the time we checked in until the morning we left we felt as if we were truly relaxing at home. The house is immaculate and very well maintained. We stayed in the Appalachian room and it was amazing! It was very spacious and so comfortable. Everyone that works at the Inn is very accommodating and gracious. Hopefully we can return some day!

My husband and I visited Blue Ridge to explore and to take a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. We stayed at the inn for two nights and had a wonderful experience! The inn itself is beautiful. The location is perfect for exploring the historic downtown. We were able to walk everywhere. Service at the inn was impeccable! Staff was supportive but not intrusive. Self-check in was convenient and really easy. The staff provided detailed texts and emails to help us with the process. We really appreciated the guide book which was provided in our room. It helped us choose which local restaurants to visit. The staff obviously put some effort into creating this guidebook! The breakfasts were delicious, and I appreciated the fact that they were served at 9 a.m. so I could sleep in a bit!
This was our first B&B experience, and I was somewhat unsure of what to expect. However, I cannot say enough about what a great experience this was! Great location, beautiful accommodations, welcoming staff, and reasonable prices...I would definitely recommend this inn for a stay in Blue Ridge!!

This quaint old home was perfectly located for visiting Blue Ridge. The delicious and huge breakfasts, served family style at 9 AM, kept us full until supper time. We enjoyed an early cup morning coffee while rocking on the front porch and met an interesting mix of guests from whom we gleaned information about restaurants and activities. It was a different and enjoyable vacation. There is no handicap access, but the first floor rooms are doable even with limited mobility. On site parking is another big plus.

A true gem located in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge. The room was comfortable and very nicely decorated. Towels were of great quality.
Breakfast super nice!!! The team operating this little gem know what it takes to run it successfully. We will be back for sure. Thank you for making my Mom's birthday a relaxed, beautiful and memorable event with your superior service and the care you put into your daily duties. It shows!

This B and B has a perfect location, 150 yards from the train station and just a bit more to all of Blue Ridge. ||The staff and owner are exceptionally gracious, helpful, and accommodating. We had several small special requests, and every one was satisfied with grace. Their recommendations for activities changed our brief stay for the better- they are a great source of info.||The breakfast is delicious and ample, with yogurt, a homemade muffin, and an egg/sausage/bacon dish of one type or another. Fruit is also readily available. Coffee is always on hand via a Keurig but a large pot is also made fresh every morning.||What keeps this inn from being a 5 star review is its condition and renovation. The house dates from 1890, and was not one of the grand mansions that are the basis for some B and Bs. It was essentially a New England salt box with added porches. Over the years portions of the porches have been enclosed, and a kitchen brought into the building (surely an outbuilding in 1890). The last significant renovation, however, appears to have been in the 1990s, and the various renovations and remodels do not provide visual or structural cohesion.||The interior has open lath walls but also poorly restored plaster, mixed with mdoern wallpaper. Carpets are a mix of decent machine made orientals but also berber in the upstairs clearly covering unrestored floors. The furniture is a mashup of periods. Our room had an iron bedstead and a beautiful quilt, with a modern soft chair and art deco mirrors (!). The curtains and sheets were 80s/90s styled, which even if going for a modern look is dated.||There are a couple of small public rooms that also have a wild mix of items taht are not old enough to be antiques but also not in good condition. Almost everything in the house is for sale, which gave me the impression the house is as much an 'atiques' shop as B and B.||The house has a beautiful entry hall and front door, but despite this the owner has opted to have guests enter from the back, through a parking lot, and into a hall off of which are the laundry and kitchen. The inn would make a far better impression if a guest entered through the front door, and I suspect the public building across the street would allow parking.||All in all, a very nice stay with good food and great people and location, marred by property condition and concept. I hope the house will be given the TLC it needs because in every other way it's a great place to stay.
