Definitely will not be going to Mayors again. Ordered Uber Eats pick up on a Thursday 11am. Waited 20mins at counter before someone asked if i was helped.
10mins more finally got my COLD order. The French Poulet was laughable (photo attached) burned and barely a chicken breast. Not worth the price. Its a shame. This spot was good once upon a time.

This cozy Little gem it's a good little spot for me right now. The seating is nice, The staff is very friendly The breakfast burrito I had was amazing...... Seriously amazing. But I did not think the side of potatoes would be tasting that good. I love the side order of potatoes more than the breakfast burrito and the breakfast burrito was still amazing. As my taste buds are still trying to figure that out I'm trying to figure out when the next time I can leave my home of tamarac from Broward to spend a full morning down there to try something else on the menu. But it is busy because there is a good amount of people in there already and I'm pretty sure they feel the same way. I will definitely come back again.

This little hole in the wall restaurant is amazing. Our waitress, Eileen made us feel like family. She made great meal suggestions and was so sweet. I will definitely go back.

We got there no one acknowledge us other people showed up and they got their menus right away and their drinks. It took them 30 minutes just to bring my water when we ask the other waitress she said very rudely you didn’t ask me and she didn’t bring the water either. I asked the other waitress and she didn’t bring the water either. They were trying to charge us filet mignon price when they didn’t even have filet mignon and gave us a regular piece of meat. The experience overall was really horrible. The staff needs better training. They need better management. They need to have more kindness, courtesy, and politeness all of them look like they didn’t wanna be there working. It was pretty sad that we had to Tell them this in a nice way so they could try to better the place, but those young girls didn’t seem like they cared. In my opinion the food was not that good. The service was extremely bad and the place is just really a one star.

Mayor Café is the perfect spot for breakfast! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. Their coffee is rich and smooth — exactly what you need to start the day right. The atmosphere feels cozy and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Whether you’re having pancakes, avocado toast, or just a good latte, everything tastes homemade and delicious. Definitely my favorite place to enjoy a relaxed morning meal!

Now Mayor’s is open Friday and Saturday after 5 pm so we decided to try it. They have a smashed burger menu and the Guava burger was soooo good. The pan con bistec was amazing. Then we tried the Guava Bread pudding for dessert and oh my GOD! The staff were super friendly and down to earth. What a great place to go on the weekend to eat. We highly recommend it.

Do you want a solid diner breakfast that will likely put you to sleep afterwards because of its goodness and comfort heaviness? You’ll find it here. I had never heard of Mayor’s Cafe before a friend suggested it after our morning run. It was a great place to refuel, and treat oneself to a mimosa. $7 for a very full mimosa was quite satisfying. We were seated right away on a relatively early Saturday morning, despite there being several tables already full and people constantly coming in to pick up orders. Our server was knowledgeable of them about the menu and accommodate all of our requests. Some of us asked for regular ice water, and some of us asked for cold water with ice, and she made sure to refill any waters that came out differently.

The inside is updated, clean, bright, looking with stylized posters and photos on the walls that give you a modern diner feel. I do appreciate they still have a counter where anyone can sit and eat as well. The bathroom is single occupancy, but it was not a problem during my visit.

I went for the country fried chicken, which, thankfully has the option to get Grady on the side. I find that is the best way to go, since the chicken is quite seasoned, and it is nice to experience the crunch of it without the gravy slopped all over it to begin with. It comes with a choice of home fries, or fresh fruit, but if you’re having country fried chicken, you might as well go big and go with the home fries. They were huge, well cooked and seasoned. The dish almost felt like home fries and country fried chicken with a side of eggs. By the way, yes, you got your choice of two eggs in any style you’d like. My over easy eggs were cooked just right, and provided that runny yolk that went so well with the chicken.

I would’ve stopped there, especially since I had to take a third of the dish home, but we checked in on Yelp and found that they offer a free French toast topping with the check-in. So, of course, I had to order French toast ($12.99 for 3 pieces) and use my check-in offer. I went with chocolate chips for the topping, while my friends ordered strawberry, so that we could try both. I was a little disappointed that the strawberry topping was just fresh strawberries that were cut up and tossed onto the French toast. But the chocolate chips were worth it, since they were plentifully spooned onto the French toast, long enough to be softened by the heat of the French toast. The French toast itself was doughy, adequately sweetened and not needing too much maple syrup. I’m not typically a sweets for breakfast person, but this was a nice exception to make.

If you’re in the area and wanting solid comfort food, at any time of the day, you should take a look at this place!

Today I took my mom out for her birthday. She was in the mood for breakfast so we decided to go to Mayors Cafe. I’ve heard wonderful things about their food and establishment so we decided to check them out. We were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the establishment was nice and clean and we were seated right away. The staff was super friendly, gave us the time we needed to go over their menu and took care of all of our questions while also giving us some good recommendations. We decided to go with the breakfast burritos and the French toast. My mom went with the eggs and ham with hashbrowns and I went with the eggs and bacon with fries. The food was served fresh, hot and fast and was delicious. Our waitress, Grecheem did an awesome job of paying attention to all of the details, getting our order right and staying on top of our needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend you coming to check them out, you will not be disappointed! They accommodated me and my wheelchair with ease as well! Mayors cafe, thanks very much!
