Everyone in Buffalo Thank. City mission. Is a homeless place? Truly be told It's not.
A homeless place, it's a hotel. If you don't pay or social service, not paying?for you They will kick you out. I have experienced this. I came from hospital for mental health issues. The hospital was paying my bed 3 days. At the city mission. When the 3 days up. They told me. I have to go to social service. To get the payment paper. When I go to social service, they deny me. And i come back city mission. They pack my stuff. And they told me this place if you don't pay or social service paying for you or the hospital ECM You cannot stay here. So they kick me out on a Freezing weather. The only free thing in city mission you can go to eat That is The only thing. Is free only. They will not replace you when you're homeless and you don't have no money. To pay the rent 350.oo . I don't know what is the reason they tell people We help the homeless. That is not true. There are very nasty people and they don't care about nobody but the money they make. That would be miracle, if a homeless person live in there without no money. Because I could be living there Because I could be leaving up there. Truly it happened...... That is a cheap hotel three hundred and fifty a month Sometimes when you are homeless. You have to get you feed up And then pay the rent, Which is okay. but they don't even give you that chance. So if you are homeless and you don't have money to pay the rent, don't waste your time going up there trying to get a bed. If you do, you will end up having depression and back to the hospital. Because they will kick you out. You can see the body language. Even you die out there in the freezer. Weather. So don't waste your time. My homeless brother. Anyone who would like to verify? You can go ask a lot of people out there. That are Homeless that live there. They will tell you the truth............. In Jesus name, but that's not a place of Jesus name. City mission is hotel.....

I sent them an email last week about doing a possible scheduled pickup for a food donation in the future. An email I got back said a representative would be in touch within 24 hours. I still haven't heard anything from them. I wouldn't recommend donating to the City mission. I'll be sending future money and food donations to a better shelter

I have tried to connect with this organization for the past three days and NO RESPONSE! I wanted to donate some items. When I call no one seems to answer and all you get is there answering machine.

Had 12 bags of winter clothes to drop off and they didn't offer any help at all. I had asked for a bin or cart so that I can fill it up and roll it inside so that it stays out of the rain. Again, they couldn't be bothered helping me with that.
It's apparent that the guy that was volunteering his time didn't want to be there, maybe he should think about going somewhere else.
The donation box outside wasn't big enough for my bags or I would have thrown them in there.
Hopefully my clothes will go to some families that need them.

Stayed there about a week or so came back one night saw there was no blankets on my bed. When i politely asked for one i was told to leave & they mentioned something about a letter i needed to have which they never told me about in my intake. Furthermore i was suppose to be seen by a caseworker there according to my intake worker but that never happen for some reason. I made them call police so i would have a place to stay & gave officers no problem as my case was dismissed the next day by a judge.
