Stayed April 4-7 in the Salado Creek Cottage. The entire property is beautiful. There were deer and birds everywhere. The Cottage was perfect for our party of 2 couples. It has a small kitchenette and plenty of room to spread out. There were luxurious robes in the bathroom and a fun porch to sit on. The breakfast each morning in the main Inn was incredible. Katie the Innkeeper is so welcoming and the food is fresh and delicious. Gorgeous dining room with wonderful view. Salado is an awesome town to visit, everything is walk-able and we wished we had more time to stay.

The Horton House was never serviced. Repeated requested for water and fridge repair went unanswered . The bed and mattress were so uncomfortable I could not fall asleep for hours. Plus it leaned to one side and caused pains in neck and shoulders. Room Service linens, beds made, etc were never done over a 3 day stay. There were no drawers to put cloths away. Alexander restaurant is no where near what it use to be. The main inn might be fine but the Horton House is a huge disappointment. You lived out of your suitcase.

I’m amending my review. The management finally responded. They made every effort to address each issue beyond my expectations.
I sincerely appreciate everything she did.

Thoroughly enjoyed our getaway stay weekend! It was just what we needed! Everything was perfect! Katie and the staff made us feel right at home...and the weather couldn't have been better! It was nice to just sit or swing on the porch or under the trees next to the creek and just relax! We really loved our stay!!! Thank you for a great weekend away from the city!

We were there for a girls trip for a few days recently. This was for sure our favorite place. The grounds and buildings were beautiful and so well maintained. The staff was wonderful. Katie especially went out her way at breakfast to see that we had everything we needed. She even gave us togo breakfast items the day we left since we were leaving before breakfast was served. Such a nice surprise! The main restaurant great food and friendly and attentive staff. Wonderful Inn!

I fell in love with the Inn this past weekend. It's a beautiful home in an even prettier place. Katie and her staff made it easy to spend an additional night than what was planned! The fluffy eggs for breakfast made it even better. Thanks all.

Go here!! The grounds are breathtaking along with the Inn. Absolutely beautiful. Katie, the Innkeeper, is so kind, helpful, thoughtful and an AMAZING cook. The breakfast was incredible. The Inn is walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, breweries, you name it. 100% recommend!

This is our first time to stay here at the Inn on the Creek and it is wonderful. ||We stayed in the Aiken room and it is a very cozy cute room. The clawed tub is very charming that will whisk you away back in time. ||You'll definitely get a great night's sleep on the bed because it is very comfortable. The sheets are made of unmatched quality are fit for a king and queen.|| We liked the sheets so much we actually bought a set for our king sized bed at home. We've had the pleasure of meeting Jason, Katie, and Neil the owner and they've made us feel like family while here.|| When you stay here you definitely have to check out the Shed restaurant and Alexander's.|| The food at the Shed is exceptional we did the sampler plate, burgers, and cheese curds. They were great.|| You'll also want to eat at Alexander's on the property at the Inn as the food is phenomenal. ||We did the beef tenderloin and it was cooked to perfection along with the crab cakes and autumn bread pudding! If you're not staying at the Inn on the Creek you're missing out.|| Breakfast in the morning was stellar as well the atmosphere and people have been great. ||We definitely tip our hats off to all of the staff we've seen, and those working behind the scenes. ||You're taste buds will thank you once you eat at The Shed and Alexander's as their food is to die for!||If you've haven't booked a stay here you will be disappointed if you go anywhere else. The Inn on the Creek truly is a hidden gem that you're going to love!!! Great B&B! Clean and very comfy. Bedding is so good, that actually sell it. The restaurant next door has amazing food and service. Will definitely be back.
