I was lured in by the stained glass windows & hanging plant situation, and found myself in a cozy, trendy shop that roasts their own beans. I ordered an espresso with drip coffee and was VERY pleased; coffee made right here 🙌🏽 The barista was fun & friendly and offered some great local shopping suggestions when I asked. I loved the location in the middle of the 4th Ave fun!

One of the best spots in Tucson. This falls in my top three places to get great coffee in the city. The staff is expert level baristas and know everything from growing, roasting process, brewing process, and customer service. As a self proclaimed coffee snob, this is always in my top coffee shops. Not only is the service fantastic , but the ambiance is amazing too. If ya want a great space for a date, to do work, or just chill…this is it.

Greetings American society coming on to let you know the EXO cafe it's definitely absolutely marvelous Cafe. It has a very rustic kind of look and feel to it. And I would also like to thank the owner of the cafe I do not know her name but she was very nice to me. And the staff there we're also very nice to me as well. And they do have some pretty tasty drinks another excellent food products as well. And they were totally non-discriminative of my travels in my lifestyle. I would definitely again like to thank the owner as she provided me add orange juice for breakfast . This Cafe comes highly recommended in the 4th avenue historic district. I really enjoyed this coffee shop! It has high ceilings and is brick. I was greeted immediately by and ordered an orange cardamom latte and a cheese and fruit croissant. Both were delicious!! I ordered a second latte and it was the mole latte. While still great, the orange cardamom was my favorite!

The baristas were attentive and super friendly!

I set up a laptop and watched as coffee beans were roasted! How cool is that!?

The coffee here is meant to be enjoyed: you don't just drink it up. Roasted on site makes a noticeable difference--fine aroma. The place itself is like coffee houses I loved years ago in Vancouver. Simple, dark, lots of wood, no flash. Also...fresh-baked croissants.

Supperb freshly roasted coffee no fuss straightforward pleasant service. Place is spacious and clean. Can improve a tad bit on the pastries but you come here for the coffee not the pastries

We loved coming here to get a quick coffee! This coffee shop has such a neat, rustic and authentic coffee house vibe. Very cool to see the roaster in the back of the shop too! Coffee was good and the customer service was even better. Gotta love the prices too! Paid $4.75 for a Mocha, if I’m remembering correctly. Seating is a little limited and all the seats were taken when we got there, so it looks like seating could be hit or miss and probably not the best place to study if you can’t even get a seat. But nonetheless a great coffee shop near downtown Tucson. We will be back for more!

Used to go here and it was enjoyable but unfortunately now the hours are unreliable - it was closed at 4:40 pm despite the sign on the door saying 5:00 pm. Perhaps signage needs to be updated.

Edited after owner’s response: I am sorry to hear there was an emergency! There was no indication of that when we went in - the employee just told us she was already closed, but we certainly didn’t realize she was managing an emergency at the same time. Thanks for clarifying and my apologies!
