The new office manager is very professional, kind, empathetic and very knowledgeable about the property and all of the many amenities. No question I had when I came to fill out an app was unanswered! Been living here for 5 years. Although the new management is nice, their timing to get stuff done makes no sense. For instance more people come here because they have a pool little do be know they’ll rarely get to use it. It wasn’t open till a few weeks into summer. ( been like that for at least four years). Now it’s closed again so they can tear up the concrete around it. Rather than just waiting until fall so then the residents can actually enjoy what they pay for. Most residents only have the one AC unit in their apartment so we need the pool to help Keep us cool especially the people towards the back of the building where the sun rises. It’s a steady 85° and up in our apartment and we constantly have to run the AC unit which doesn’t cool down the whole apartment. So there goes our electric bill. We also were missing our screen doors for months and finally just got new ones.

Why are we paying market value for a laundry facility in a place we all split water utility on?
Owning my own house my water bill was <$25/mo, it is now $80 flat consistently in an apartment im rarely in. If we are charged for water, why are we still paying big money for the laundry facilities and still have to pay TWICE in the drawer, or hang our clothes after a full cycle for our clothes to dry? I dont want your apology or any kickbacks of any sort, just fix the deep rooted problem. Access to the laundry room is already restricted via resident key....why are we paying so much individually for a service that doesnt even work? 👎

I have currently lived at Huntington House Apartments for 8 years and Essential Property Management are the first owners to create and complete renovations throughout the complex in its entirety. The Management is Great, super attentive and assertive across the Board! I have had nothing but the best assistance from Addam the Manager, and Brittany, the regional manager. I love my apartment and the Huntington House staff! Thank you to all of you for your diligence and assertiveness in regards to residents and Property matters. Thank You!

Never fix anything right and now paying almost 300.00 extra for heat n water when it was included when i moved in .I dont have or use the washer and dryer here.and can't control our heat an i barely use my stove. Mouses like crazy and the Leasing office can't seem to keep no one n the maintenance as well ..

Water is off days for 12+ hours all week .after the plumbing should be over .its 6/23/2025 plumbing work shoulda been over the 20th . Every other month atleast once the water not working for 12 hours plus unable to wash my baby’s bottle , unable to shower for work or flush the toliet and I pay 1200$ in rent not including utilities this place is sad and honestly a last resort Not to mention Roaches appear in the winter! Maintenance comes a month later

Update:

Huntington reached out to my husband and took care of our issues and my moms apartment as well.

The new owners seem promising. They have a lot of repair and work to do to fix this place up. We're still not planning to live here much longer.

This place is garbage. They took away some of the screen doors with no notice and won't give anyone a straight answer to why they did it.

Maintenance is so hard to get out to your place. My mom's closet door has been messed up for almost a year now. Her sink water in the kitchen is barely giving any water out.

They're more concerned with outside appearances instead of the actual residents.

We can't control our heat even though they say we can. We have the heat off but it's still so hot in here that we have to have our windows open.

To top it off, we now never know what our rent will be because of "communal" utilities. Basically it depends on how much the community uses of water, etc.

Do not stay here. So many people are leaving. We're trying to get out of here.

I moved here early 2024 by the end of the year roaches came from no where .. I contact or email the office many times letting them now I have a infant baby that will be crawling soon and they send somebody out to do the bare minimum.. so I had to buy my own roach bombs.
they upped the rent prices this year which is crazy for having pest and mold in the bathroom vents
Been here for a year and I’ve spent at least a month in a hotel because they are doing construction yes they pay for it but that doesn’t mean it’s convenient.. I have a job that’s further I have to pack everything up multiple times all so they can do some sidewalk work .. this apartment is becoming a joke and I will be getting a lawyer if nothing is improved with this roach situation.. I’m not paying 1200$ to live with bugs I’d live under a rock if that’s what I wanted
