We look forward to returning to this place in the future. I don't think you will find a better Bed and Breakfast than this place. This place is awesome. My wife and myself were returning to Indiana from Florida. We were traveling home the day of our 5th anniversary and I did not want to spend 9 hours driving home on a special occasion. I decided I wanted to surprise my wife with a special evening before continuing our drive. I figured an evening on the lake would be a nice transition from the beach to home. You will not find a better host and hostess at a bed and breakfast. They were absolutely amazing. Our stay there was the best anniversary we have ever had. There is a really nice restaurant about 20 miles down the road where you can enjoy a nice dinner. There is no traffic in the area. I simply cannot give enough praise to Kathy and Dave our host and hostess. The decorations and furniture in this place is exceptional. The peacefulness and beauty of sitting on the lake in the evening and morning is wonderful. And yes the breakfast is absolutely superb. There's no words adequate enough to describe our visit. The area is amazing with beautiful trails and quiet evenings. And I could call the house was like home, but it was so much better. Kathy and Dave took amazing care of us. Every breakfast was exquisite and Kathy directed us to some delightful places to dine. We did not have a bad meal the entire time we were there. I wish we could have stayed forever...it really was Paradise.

Kathy our host seemed nice but she turned out to be horrible.walked off while I was talking to her .accused of me smoking I have never smoked. God as my witness. Her food was aweful kathy you need to learn how to cook. And never walk away when someone is talking to you manners.started weed eating where going to fish. After we told her we are going fishing. Sat outside our room listening to us talk . My husband wanted to leave so we left early miss 1 day I paid for . Rooms are very expensive. I fell on their porch there is a step by the door that is hard to see very DANGEROUS. I went to Acute care I hurt my knee and it was bleeding and my hip also I am a senior citizen. And kathy treated me badly vacation ruined. I will be talking to my lawyer about my fall.this is the first time ever my vacation turned out like this . I am about ready to cry.

We stayed for 2 night and enjoyed every minute! The room we stayed in had a great view of the lake. Our hosts were friendly and most helpful in suggesting dinner spots and hiking options. They offered us use of their kayaks which was a nice touch. Made for a great trip. The price was pretty reasonable and they didn't tack on excessive fees and additional charges like many other B&Bs do. I recommend and would return!

Fabulous get-a-way that doesn't break the bank! I've been to many different bed and breakfast locations all over the States but this easily rises above most of them. My wife and i had an amazing time. The owners are so nice and thoughtful. They truly want your experience to be world class. Oh, my wife just told me to write about the food....Simply amazing. Tasted delicious and was beautifully presented and served to a table with a breath taking Lake Martin view each morning.

We are very happy to have found this beautiful cozy and hospitable B&B on our first holiday trip to the USA after several nights in anonymous hotels. It is located directly on the lake, you can swim and relax. Our room was very lovingly and personally furnished, it was absolutely interesting to get such a unique insight into the family history. Everything is very clean and our bathroom is very large and modern. The hosts are absolutely friendly, although we arrived far too early, we received a very warm welcome. The breakfast with homemade food, cakes and fruit is delicious! We strongly recommend this house for more than one night to come to rest completely. Thank you very much for everything!

I am typing this as my husband and I are driving home from a very much needed, relaxing weekend here at this Awesome B&B!
Kathy & Dave are two very warm welcoming hosts! The views are breathtaking and our room was cozy, private and comfy! We stayed in the Lake Room and really enjoyed the balcony views and how spacious it was! The breakfast every morning that Kathy prepares really was PERFECT! Her Fresh fruit, homemade baked dishes( that zucchini bread ) juice , coffee really made me want to step up my cooking at home lol and it truly was the highlight our our stay! There are plenty of places on this property to hang/eat and relax by the water ! We can’t wait to come back when its warmer to enjoy the water. See you soon!

B&Bs seem to naturally come with high standards, and thus high expectations. Of all the B&Bs I've stayed at around the world, this was the best so far. If you find yourself in the Lake Martin area, you're doing yourself a disservice if you aren't staying with Kathy and Dave. This weekend getaway was an absolute delight because of them. Clean, comfortable rooms, kayaks and (potentially) a boat ride available, and simply pleasant and loving company from genuinely good people. We'll be back!
