I was here about 2 years ago and the staff here were positive, supportive, kind and professional. They helped me with everything I needed and made me feel like I was worthwhile while doing so. I am so grateful this place and these people were here when I needed them. Blessings and gratitude to everyone here!

Really not bad. Not bad for a budget hotel. I hate risking a stay in a budget place (running around 50/night in this part of town) but I was there late, leaving early, and the first regular place I went had no vacancy. This was fine and I would stay there again. Four stars for being a great value. The furniture was good, the bed was comfortable, the sheets weren't bad, the towels were worn but not stained. The bathroom fixtures were even somewhat updated. Key pass, Internet, etc. worked fine. Did not try the breakfast.

The manager possesses amazing kindness, honesty, and integrity.
I found a scary review for another hotel I was about to book, about its manager moving the guest from the first hotel to another because of no availability, but still getting charged for both rooms because of the first one already being booked, or something along those lines. When I had booked at La Siesta and arrived to be told I should take a room here at the Rodeway Inn for the same charge I would've paid at La Siesta, I was pretty happy until I remembered the review I had just avoided at another place. I was patiently assured that I would not be charged for both rooms even though I booked online and could not cancel at La Siesta. Very happy with my stay here.

My room was recently renovated and the owner keeps a good eye on everything. It's right in the middle of the mineral shows and shuttle. There was a mix-up with the reservation, but it was straightened out and honored. At the time it was a a no frills chain, so bear in mind that I am comparing my stay with similar rooms.

This part of town is devoid of many restaurants but it is a good place for the mineral shows. Several are within walking distance and the shuttle stops nearby.

I'm giving it 4 stars because I had a pleasant experience with the management, and for the price.

It's in a bad area, transients are common at all hours of the night. The room could have been cleaner. But it was clean enough.

But the manager was nice, showed me how to work the shower, and was patient when I locked myself out of my room 4 times in one night.

So i was in Tucson for the first 5 days of the famous mineral show and decided to stay here since its cheap and centrally located. Unfortunatly i had no hot waterfor 3/5th of my stay. Told management about rhe problem 1st day and was told not to worry the hot and cold faucets were installed backwards ok no problem. Unfortunatly it still didnt work so explained this amd was told it would be fixed. At the end if the day it wasnt fixed because they forgot.... ok at least honest about it. Next day still not fixed.... very rare parts needed Hmmm not so honest and still no shower. Nor would they move me to a different room. Place is full but we will refund the last two days and i can find another place if i want..... so nice of them grrrr. Finally fixed after three days but place smells like a chemistry lab from all the solvents and glue.... my advise.... yeah move on...

Only gave it a 1 star because it required a rating in order to leave a comment. Do not stay here! We checked in after reading some good reviews and looking at pictures on the website wanting to see how the room was thinking we’d give it a shot. Upon checking in we were charged $92.00 the receptionist told my fiancé “booking is no longer available online due to COVID-19” but it’s not stated on the website. Our room was upstairs in the back which faces Oracle Road stairs were broken. We got into the room nothing looked the way it was online, there was a smoke stench the bed didn’t have a bed frame it was just the box spring and mattress, the bedding is very outdated looking like the bedding in hotels back in the 90s or earlier, the carpet is very old and stained as well as nasty looking. the sink, tub/shower and toilet were very old and outdated. The tub was so dirty had stains in it I had just got off work and refused to shower, there was a hair ball in the bathroom on the floor. One tiny hotel bar soap, no towels, not even a wash cloth. I bumped the little trash can under the sink it fell over and when I went to pick it up there was a foul odor that made me nauseous (no exaggeration). We ended up leaving neither one of us felt comfortable, booking another room by the airport for $40, it’s a King room, nicer, way cleaner, comfortable bed, all in all it’s a way better hotel. My fiancé went back at 9am to check out and get the deposit back, he told the guy that we didn’t stay there due to how bad the room was it took them 20 minutes to go check the room, the receptionist failed to give him the deposit back stating that there were stains and my fiancé told them we never even stayed there the only reason we didn’t check out early is because there is an early checkout fee, guy said he has pictures of how the room was not wanting to show the pictures when my fiancé asked he said he was going to call the cops which wasn’t worth the headache. In the end it’s our fault for not taking pictures before we always take pictures as soon as we get to the room because of things like this I wish we would have taken the pictures ah well lesson learned, got ripped off for not only the room being $90 but as well as the $20 deposit for a room we didn’t stay in.

So our experience was not a pleasant one because we checked out within 30 minutes of getting there after finding rooms 102 and 105 with roaches scurrying around. Side note they had old TVs from the 90s in the rooms. The lady said that it happens and that it's summer and nothing really they can do about it. So after going through two rooms I asked for a full refund and stayed at the much nicer Red Lion Inn & Suites. 7/18/17
