My daughter has been going to this camp for 3 years and she absolutely LOVES it. She has made so many new friends and all of the letters she writes to me say that she is having so much fun. There are so many things to do and see. Her favorite part of camp is the waterfront. She also loves how she can be in activities with all of her friends. She goes to first session at the glen. The food choices are very inclusive, they consider everyone’s eating restrictions. Everyone should attend this camp!

Amazing experience with a private group, with the notable exception being the food.

They were barely willing to accommodate the vegetarians in our group, let alone the folks with celiac.

When we asked for accommodations, like butter for rolls, we were told it “wasn’t on menu” when we saw plenty of it at breakfast earlier.

Obviously, we pocketed it for lunch the following day, but it was dumb we needed to.

If you enroll your child here prepare for them to tell you excited they are multiple times a day (sometimes an hour) for months. If you can deal with that that, great! This camp was the best time my kid has ever had she loved it!

10 years ago, I first began my journey at Lake of the Woods Camp. Throughout these years, camp has given me lifelong friendships, the courage to be myself, independence, some of my greatest memories, creativity, and my sense of adventure. This camp shaped me into who I am today, and it truly is the “best camp in the land.”

i do not know what i would do if i didn’t come to it every summer, i’m so happy that that i’m able to call this place my home! i have made the best friends that will last me a lifetime. the food, cabins, and traditions at camp are what make it so special and it changes me for the better.
