Convenient to many places. Rooms were clean but very dark and dated. We had a few issues with our room, but the front desk staff, Gary & Cara, were outstanding & handled them professionally. The breakfast was great & was kept stocked and tidy. The pool and outdoor area was very nice, as was the breakfast area. We had a great dinner, a little expensive, but it was really nice to find a Hampton Inn with a restaurant onsite.

I absolutely like Hampton Inn hotels. They are pretty darn good with having updated and clean rooms. This was an slightly and exception. This was not the best Hampton Inn I've been in. BUT THAT ISN'T NESSACARLY BAD because Hampton Inns are usually very good. It was just a a tad on the dated side. It didn't have the normal expectations I have of Hampton Inns. I will was rather comfortable there and would consider staying there again. One of the 3 rooms I had for a family reunion was still set up for a kitchenette. It was missing the stove and hood. The toilet seat had deep scratches and the carpet could use some cleaning. The beds and pillows were comfy. The room was clean. It's still a good hotel. Hampton Inn hotels have set a high standard for me. This may not visually hit that standard but a good experience overall.

The front staff were amazing. They addressed a few problems I had and went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. Thank you for making this trip a great time for our family. Located so close to many eateries and some gems in the area, like the Town Center of Frederick. Would return and stay at this hotel. I understand there will be renovations with a spa and many special upgrades by next year.

A smoky Hampton Inn in Frederick Maryland. I told the front desk girl that my room smells like smoke and asked if I could please see another room. She responded by telling me that it’s a non-smoking hotel. I then explained to her that it is not. Why argue with guest when they’re obviously right? I’m in the lobby and it smells three times worse than my room! asked if there were any rooms more recently renovated. Front desk then told me they are starting renovations now. That should have been her first response. “ I am sorry we are starting to renovate now but currently we suck.” When I left at 7:30 am the next day there was a staff member in front of the hotel exit cleaning up all the cigarette butts. This is a smoking hotel. They allow smoking in the rooms and have no controllership over keeping smoke away from the main lobby. My stay was the night of July 15th 2025. Checked in at 5 pm.

Positive: I love this location. There are breakfast places like Cracker Barrel very close and a diner. But all kinds of shopping surround this hotel. There is also easy access to DC if that's where you're heading. Check-in was an enjoyable experience. Negative: I stayed in this hotel before and it's definitely starting to show its wear, but I will definitely stay here again next year

My daughters and I were very grateful to stay at this awesome place that was so clean and on point. Katasha at the front desk was amazing and really helped us troubleshoot shoot an issue with our reservation that was not their fault at all, absolutely went above and beyond. She was also very kind to my daughter who was going through a really tough time. Absolutely will stay again!!!

Everything about this hotel was pretty cool. I mean, they don't have a hot tub but they do have a pool. If u do need to soak ur body, their bathroom water temperatures are AMAZING. The hot water does not miss!
The staff is cool, especially the blk lady who works during the week. She's very resourceful if there's anything u need to know. The other lady only likes u if u have a dog.
Breakfast is good the first day but after a week, u want something else. Days in and out of eggs and potatoes is crazy. Oh and the potatoes aren't done. Firm and raw on the inside. Beds are totally comfortable and whatever the hotel doesn't have, there's plenty of places just minutes away for whatever u need (Walmart, Roy Rogers, movie theatre etc.)

I'd caution of staying here. Location and staff were great but the rooms are not up to standard Hampton Inn status. The room was severely outdated. The AC wouldn't work and there was a smell that I can't even explain. Seemed to be a moldy / musty wet dog smell that was almost unbearable. Thinking of joining the Marriott club for work stays.

Hampton was a great experience. Staff was friendly. We had a regular room with a King. Had a small fridge and microwave. Needed some updating but was clean. Breakfast was very yummy!

We had an enjoyable stay. The lady (Kathy) that makes breakfast was phenomenal, she went out of her way to accommodate my dietary needs. We were there for a ball tournament and it was conveniently located to the fields.
