Casual atmosphere, attentive service. The menu is different than lots of places. So fer, we've had the lettuce wraps, fried pickles, short rib stacker sandwich, turkey and brie sandwich, pork shank ( huge and delicious), steak salad and Cobb salad. They are BYOB, for now. Never disappointed.

Our first visit here, we got carryout (placed order online). Order was bagged and ready right on time. We didn't dine there, but I will say that the interior space was incredibly well decorated and looks like it will be a very lovely place for a dine-in meal once the pandemic goes away.

That being said, our carry out experience was also very excellent. The food was well packaged, everything we ordered traveled very well. I tried the Southern Fried Chicken and Waffles entree, and it was excellent. Very ample portion size. The chicken is the real star here - it was perfectly fried and very tender. The waffles were excellent too, although maybe I do wish they were a touch firmer, but that could have been due to them needing to travel 20 mins before we ate it. The hot honey and the syrup served with it really make the dish shine.

My wife tried the "Low-Country Shrimp and Grits" entree. Again, it was a very good portion size, with a lot of shrimp - and incredibly delicious all around. Great example of the dish.

Our kids also tried a kids chicken tenders meal, which used the same chicken as my entree did - really delicious, great fries too. And my other son got the "Big Easy Baguette" Sandwich. Again, it was outstanding - tons of huge slices of fresh mozzarella, the turkey was good, the baguette was toasted like a panini and was really the perfect bread for it.

Overall, very happy with our experience - we will absolutely be repeat customers. I also found the prices to be very reasonable given the portion sizes and quality of the food. Great meal.

I was so disappointed. I had read the menu and was so excited, it is just what my fiancé and I love but when we got there. It took some time to be greeted, which seemed odd as there was only one other table of customers in the place. The table where we were seated was dirty. The server was having lunch so it took some time to get waited on. She was a good server. We ordered Cream of crab soup and it was adequate. My fiancé ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, which looked amazing and tasted very good. His fries were not hot and under seasoned. I ordered seafood Alfredo. The amount of seafood was great. But this was not Alfredo. It was in a sauce with mushrooms that looked like dirty dish water with Italian seasonings. The worst part is that exactly how it tasted. I refuse to send food back . I will fix this here at home. I must also mention the garlic bread. They give you plenty but it was hard as a rock and over cooked. I am hoping they were just having an off day, but I don’t think we will be going back

Service was great! Rachel was personable and patient. I had the 6oz crab cake and mashed potatoes. Everything was good. Mashed potatoes were amazing. The highlight was the peach cobbler!!! Everything was well seasoned. Clean atmosphere as well.

Great new addition to the locals. Opened about a week under new management. Menu is completely different from what's listed on Google so be aware.

After contemplating what to order, I decided to get "Southern Kitchen burger" and peach cobbler as recommended by extremely helpful waitress. It's an open face burger on white bread with either mashed potatoes or fries drenched in delicious gravy.

I think it had really good potential to be a delicious meal but unfortunately this night it got ruined by strong bitter burnt taste of the grill. Burger didn't look burnt at all so only think I can think of is whatever was left on the grill got stuck on the burger causing the strong bitterness. Perhaps, proper cleaning could have avoided this small issue.

On the brighter side, peach cobbler tasted wonderful!

I'm definitely willing to try again as it is newly opened (again) establishment and there are variety selections that interested my taste buds. Until next time~

This was our first time at the restaurant. We got carry out and overall had a great experience.

The po boy and crab dip were really good. The hot chicken sandwich was pretty good but I think it could be amazing if the chicken was brined. The sandwiches come with chips, which isn’t clear online.

The online ordering system was easy. The staff was really friendly. And the food was ready to go when I got there. I recommend!

My wife and I stopped by on a Friday night for some outside dining. We started off with the crab and corn soup and the gumbo. We 'shared' the soups. Sorry, Jenn, I didn't share evenly. Both soups were spot-on, but the gumbo was my favorite. We tried a side of fried green tomatoes, which is kind of a requirement if you are eating at a southern dining restaurant. My wife commented that they were really good and 'I don't even like fried green tomatoes'. You can't get a better complement than that.

For our entries, Jenn had the seafood pot pie, which was filled with seafood. I had one of their Preakness specials, Rockfish stuffed with crab meat and covered with a hollandaise sauce. Place that on top of asparagus and grits and you have a Preakness winning dish.

We finished the meal by sharing a slice of chocolate loving spoonful cake.

We will definitely be back.

My friend and I went for lunch. Had clams Casino and they were awful, really tough and not like any I've ever had before. Had shrimp salad sandwich and bread was really soggy and not appealing at all. It tasted ok. My friend ordered FF and there were about 10 on the plate. She said her sandwich was ok.Bill was 50.00 and wasn't a good experience and def won't be going back!!!
