We had an amazing experience on African safari and Sophie was great! She had a detailed itinerary ready for us which was easily accessible, and she took care of all of the background work ahead of time (including making the payment process for the trip, which could have been very complex, much easier). During the trip, she provided important updates to the itinerary with timely notices, and she checked in with us at key points to make sure everything was running smoothly. She also arranged concierge services (transportation and side tours) at our request for special excursions which were not part of the main itinerary and which saved us A LOT of time. I celebrated my birthday during the trip, and Sophie arranged for wine, chocolate and a sweet note in our room! She really paid attention to every detail. I follow a vegan diet, and the first night at the hotel I was served non-vegan food. I didn't want to make a big deal of that, but I mentioned it to Sophie (knowing that we would be in more remote locations) and she made absolutely sure that everyone (in 4 countries 🙂 knew I was vegan. After this, everyone bent over backwards to accommodate that, and multiple chefs during the trip came to me to discuss the menu and seemed excited to try new things! It was a really special trip that we could not have arranged ourselves, and we will be using Sophie again for all of our international travel!

I have been making my own travel arrangements for over 30 years - both personal and professional. I cannot believe the ease of mind it was to turn it over to a professional who handled it all !! Instead of me trying "chase down the right time and price" with multiple searches and calls that typically took an hour or two, it was one point of contact that took less than two minutes to explain and she did the rest! I plan to put all of my travels in her hands from now on. The service was the best I have ever had for travel - personal, credible, and reliable.
