This ace hardware should be ashamed of its sales people. Went in yesterday and spent $377 on Milwaukee power tools only to realize I got totally ripped off. As soon as I walked in to return the tools so I could get what I needed at a better price the kid who sold me the tools immediately saw me and said “I was just about to call you about the free battery I forgot to give you”. When that didn’t work and I told him how I was able to get the price I did I explained and he immediately offered price match. Out of principle I returned the tools anyway. He told me he had absolutely no more wiggle room when selling me the expensive items but as soon as I walked into return them I’m offered a free battery and $100 off. Shady business at this place. If you’re going to buy any power tools, buy them online or through your employer if possible. You’ll save a lot of money mostly because of the stupid tax markup these people put on products because of where it’s located. Not a place for pros, it’s a place for DIY at best and even so you’re better off going with Amazon. They will try and tell you if you buy from Amazon Milwaukee won’t honor their warranty which is completely not true. Milwaukee is a reputable company and as long as you have proof of purchases will honor a warranty. Don’t let them lie to you. Don’t let them steal for you. Disgusting practices ace hardware. Do better.

Couldn’t have a more pleasant middle-of-DIY-shopping experience. Two employees saw me browsing aisles and helped find things immediately, and the person at checkout was just as positive. Where you want to spend your home improvement dollars!

This ACE Hardware should get 0 stars but you need to provide at least one to post a review. Bought a Blackstone online and drove an hour with a toddler and a newborn to go pick it up in store for my husband to have for Father’s Day after we got the email saying it was ready for pick up. When we arrived we were told that they did not have it available and the 2 they had in stock was for other people who paid for it and when we said we paid for it as well they got their manager involved who then proceeded to tell us a different story and on top of it told us they could not cancel the order for us in the store and that we had to cancel the order ourselves which I know they can do because I had to have another ACE store cancel a different online order before this. The way this was handled was very unprofessional and it seems like they were just trying to blame everyone else for the mistake made on their end as we never received any notice stating they did not have the whole order available.

I have to say how great my experience has been at the new Ace Hardware store in town. There are Two people I’d like to mention specifically. As a professional, I recently was upgrading tools and the in-store Milwaukee rep Anthony was a tremendous help. He was knowledgable and patient while I created my order. He’s my new resident Milwaukee dealer. Also deserving of a special mention is the Manager Jennifer. She is always so pleasant and welcoming, from greetings to checkout. I shop the Bernardsville location often and I have yet to see her without a smile. Keep up the great work, great vibes and great atmosphere. Hopefully ACE acknowledges them both for their extra efforts.

Very good experience shopping here.
Kenny Hayworth was a lot help when we are trying to choose the paint. We came twice, he helped us with professional knowledge of painting, also asked a lot about our demand and finally get the perfect color we want. He seems to enjoy his work a lot and those happiness also positive influences us. Would definitely come back if we want anything home related!

Should be called Ace Hard since they have half the inventory of Chatham Ace Hardware or other regional AH stores. Is this the permanent strategy at this location? The existing bernardsville hw store has no threat at this point.

It's a hardware store. Do you really need to read these reviews before you go? I mean, if you do..... they do NOT have whiteboards here. I made the same mistake. Their web page says yes but I promise you, the store says no. And I did talk to somebody there about fixing that..... hopefully they did by now
