Delicious home cooked and affordable. Everything is fresh and made to order. From the outside this unassuming gem hides inside a historical landmark building nestled in the Catskill mountains. Livingston Manor is a beautiful little town with lots to offer in and around it. What better than to start your day with a hearty breakfast made with love. Inside dining is small with not much to offer on decor but this is a get in, have your meal and off to adventure type place. We had the eggs Benedict , French toast special , and a side of corned beef hash , all fresh , homemade and local. As always eat well and stay beautiful.

Cutest eatery in Livingston Manor. Small quaint cafe. A lot of locals what was nice about it was everyone was involved in the conversation. It seemed like a room full of old friends talking laughing and sharing stories. It was very welcoming. I felt right at home. The waitress was efficient kind warm welcoming and very professional. Our food was ready in a short time. We could tell the food was fresh and made to order not pre cooked and heated when needed. The options were endless and every plate was cooked to perfection. The portions were perfect and matches the price. I would recommend this cafe to anyone as my first choice. We will be going back.

Great little spot! My husband and I both had omelettes with home fries and toast, and our son had a bagel. We also ordered a side of bacon to share. Everything was DELICIOUS, and the bill was only 29 bucks! Friendly service, and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the charming atmosphere of the town. We will definitely be back next time we're in that neck of the woods!

Came in today for breakfast, Breakfast was just mediocre nothing special about it! it's your basic everyday breakfast that you cooke at home food was salty coffee was just dirty water no special taste. The very downside about this places is no ventilation so your walking out with the smell of the food all over your clothes and hair not pleasant at all. Not a place that I will ever come back to for that reason alone and the food.

It doesn't look much on the outside - you can't even tell if it's a restaurant or not! Inside is simple, sweet, quaint, much like what you would expect in a rural town of Livingston Manor, NY. The granddaughter and grandma tandem was amazing. They provided great service and made me really feel welcome. Very attentive! Food? I mean, lets face it. You're having breakfast - it's not gourmet, so breakfast is breakfast. Eggs is eggs. It was cooked to perfection and fast. Just the way I like it. Instead of going to the more trendy breakfast place where you are ignored (find my other review on that), or the typical diner (there's a review on that too), I would give this one a try. There's no other way to describe it other than, homey.

We stumbled upon cafe 43 on a Saturday late morning at 11am in mid-September. We were on a weekend trip to Kenoza Lake and had previously eaten at the Walk In (excellent biscuits!) and wanted to try somewhere new. I will say it looks shady walking in because there is a fly net in the narrow entry door. When we entered a nice older woman seated us - it's quite small, about 20 seats. The menu was extensive and I ordered avocado Benedict and bacon. Both delicious! The home fries or potatoes were delicious. Food was not salty. Good coffee which you can get up and pour yourself in a variety of mugs. Cash only but our bill maybe was about $20 (my partner got eggs, bacon, home fries). The cook is Leo and he must be a legend because about 4 different older local men came in at different times to get a cup of coffee or sit down and each went to the kitchen window to chat with Leo. We will be back - it had a nice hometown feel in here. We even thanked Leo for a delicious breakfast. He was so sweet! I love places like this!

The food was good and was a good price point, but it is a cash only cafe. The welcome sign nor menu stated that it was a cash only cafe. We had to go to the gas station down the road to use the ATM, which was close but still an inconvenience. It is recommended to post that it is a cash only cafe.

Excellent place for breakfast,ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and I loved the home fries and the buttery bread. Very kind and great attention! Great price
