My husband and I had a great getaway weekend here. He always wants to go camping to be “in nature” and I just want a real bed and running water. This place is WAY NICER than I expected! It was like the nicest hotel room I’ve stayed in but nestled in the woods like we were camping. The view and serenity were unmatched. There is air conditioning, full kitchen, huge TV, comfy bed, 2 sinks in the bathroom! We stayed in the 1090 dome and would highly recommend. There was even a super clean hot tub! We loved the hikes to the waterfalls and chilling on the super comfy outdoor seating options and looking at the stars (i saw my first satellite)!

The gravel road is longer than I expected, which made it feel even more remote and exciting. Matt is an awesome host and clearly passionate about his little paradise.

Our family of 4 from Chicago had a magical experience at the Canyon at Pond Creek during an overnight stay on our way to FL. We love glamping and have stayed at several glamping style resorts and the Canyon at Pond Creek did not disappoint! From the luxurious fit out of the domes, to the fully equipped kitchen (including a full size refrigerator), spacious bathroom, large deck with a beautiful appointed dining space, grill, private hot tub & fire pit as well as the incredible views (of course!!) this resort checked all the boxes. We stayed in dome 1 which was more than enough space! We did both of the recommended hikes to waterfalls & swimming holes (one was an easy hike and the other more rugged) and our children loved swimming in the water and waterfalls. The manager gave us a tour of the other domes for future stays and we will definitely be coming back for a romantic (kids free) getaway next time-I decided either domes #4, 5 or 6 would be perfect for the 2 us! I’m already looking forward to sipping my coffee (yes-there is of course a coffee maker in the kitchen) on the deck gazing out at those amazing views again!

Everything about this place was top notch! My husband and I booked this for our 15-year anniversary, and it did not disappoint! We are not big on hiking and this place was still the best location we could have chosen. From the clean, comfy, luxurious dome to the spacious deck with a place for us to relax and listen to nature; it was perfect! With having kids, it was nice to just sit in silence, enjoy the view and be together. The hot tub was also a favorite evening spot for us. My husband and I also enjoyed listening to the thunderstorm at night. The sounds of the rain hitting the dome and the nearby thunder put us both to sleep while the lightning played a magical light show! Lastly, the owners were beyond accommodating and friendly. They were quick to respond with answers to our questions and made every party of this adventure a breeze!

We’re from the Chicago suburbs and Canyon at Pond Creek completely blew us away. From start to finish, everything about this trip was magical. The trails are beautifully crafted, with every waterfall offering something unique and picture-perfect. You can feel the peace and beauty in every step of your hike.

The dome we stayed in was also incredible. super cozy, clean, and comfortable, with breathtaking views right from the bed and dining table. Waking up to the forest and cliffs of the valley through the huge windows felt surreal. It’s the perfect mix of comfort and nature.

The owner was beyond welcoming and kind. You can tell they’ve poured their heart and souls into creating something special here for others to enjoy. After a full day of hiking, soaking in the hot tub and relaxing by the fire while making s’mores was the perfect way to wind down while we watched the sunset.

We truly didn’t want to leave. This was truly an unforgettable experience for my entire groups.This place is something special, and we’ll absolutely be back with our friends and family!

Absolutely unforgettable experience! The dome was the perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Nestled in nature, it offered stunning panoramic views right from our bed — a true getaway from the city. We spent our days hiking scenic trails, discovering breathtaking waterfalls, and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. My girlfriend and I spent a weekend at The Canyon at Pond Creek and it was the perfect escape. The setting is peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful nature — exactly what we were looking for.

The private hot tub with canyon views was definitely a highlight. Highly recommend for couples who want to get off the grid and enjoy some quiet time.

What made this trip and destination special was the company, breathtaking landscape, luxurious comfort. This sprawling property has it all , you can have a easy hike or a very rugged hike. the domes are fully equipped with with top of the line amenities. Weather you cook inside , on the patio grill or over the open fire on a provided grate( hard to beat the open fire with meats), its nice to sit and eat after a fun day outdoors. perspective , adrenaline and serenity all come with the trip. someone once told me: "sometimes you must unplug to recharge not the other way around" nails it. lastly the owner hosts , make everything so easy. there is no worries.

My wife and I had the opportunity to experience the majesty of The Canyon at Pond Creek. It did not disappoint. We were awestruck by the natural beauty of the area. From gorgeous cliffs ideal for rock climbing, to swim ponds fed by beautiful waterfalls this place has it all for a nature lover. The accommodations were second to none. The domes are amply supplied with the creature comforts one would desire after a long day experiencing nature. Nothing better than a dip in the hot tub relaxing with your favorite drink to end your day. We can't wait to get back!
