School House Cafe is one of our favorite breakfast spots!! The carmel rolls are large enough to share. The pancakes are the size of the plate and absolutely delicious. The french toast are giant Texas toast pieces of goodness.

This place is exceptional, the food is always good, and the service is great. You can never go wrong with the breakfast, it's way more than I can eat and always delicious. If you don't try the sweet rye bread, you're missing out

This place is my favorite of all time!! The main cook makes the best chicken salad sandwich. I could eat a whole loaf of that sweet rye bread. They are struggling with young staff like most people but any inconveniences is totally worth it!!! You always get large portions here! Stopping here is a must for me whenever I am driving through even if it isn't a meal time.

We stopped here on a long travel back home. It took over an hour to get our food which was challenging, but it seemed like everyone came in at the same time and only one waitress. The order came out correct and tasted good. The pancakes are huge.

We Stopped at the School House Cafe and the food was delicious and the restaurant itself was nice and clean and unique!!! This is definitely a restaurant to stop at when you're driving through McGregor MN!!! I ordered the Kitchen Sink and my hubby ordered the Country Skillet, we would definitely come back if we're ever in the area!!!

Drove by this place many times never knew it was there. Found it on only in MN decided to drive up and check it out. Was well worth the drive. The food was amazing. The ladies working where so fin even taunted my husband in to buying a cinnamon roll and a Carmel roll.the decor was very nestalgic.
