Frog legs and Brussels sprouts were truly 10/10 first-class products. The bacon wrapped frog legs had so much flavor my nose tickled with smoke and pepper. The mussels were also a first-class recipe, but not the freshest I’ve ever had (golden rule is to eat seafood while near the ocean, so considering we’re in the desert I was appeased). I was hesitant to get a burger because there were so many other great things to choose from. I’m glad I got the Parish burger the recipe was perfect and the beef was very high quality, but I’ll say it seemed undercooked and I should have had them microwave it for 20 seconds. Overall I was very impressed with the food. I was even more impressed they’ve been in business almost 15 years but still consistently serving the highest quality first-class meals. Retain your chefs at all costs. Great restaurant!

Late lunch, early dinner at The Parish around 4 on a Sunday seems like a good time to go. Nice twists on some classic foods. Cornbread had a toasty brown crust and soft crumbly center with poppy seeds in the batter, which made it kinda sweet. Savory, well portioned BBQ smoked chicken over elote waffles, really tasty. Huge chuck of catfish with well seasoned batter and crispy fries was nice too. Cool ambiance with decor.

Amazing food and service!
I think our servers name was Raymond? He have us great detailed information about the chef's background, awards, and more. His wife made a wonderful signature drink and had opened another restaurant or bar? He explained most of the dishes in detail.
We ordered catfish, burgers, shrimp and pasta, hush puppies, cornbread, and more.
The hush puppies were amazing!
The cornbread was good but different-almost like a soft, crumbly poppyseed muffin.
The cornbread butter was awesome! The horseradish type sauce with the hush puppies was really good!
The catfish was delicious! Fried crispy but so stuffy and tender on the inside!
The burgers were well loved at or table!
The fries were seasoned nicely.

My favorite restaurant of the year. The grilled ruby trout with smoked roe and hand cut fries was fantastic. The fish was perfectly grilled and the grilled lime was a nice complement. Each tiny roe filled your mouth with delicious smoky flavor. Delicious juicy fries. The Black and Blue Brussels Sprouts were excellent as well. I also really like the atmosphere (although the music was a bit too loud for my taste), and the service was super friendly. Can't wait to come back soon.

First time trying Louisiana/Southern food. My youngest son saw the place, he loves seafood and was intrigued. We fell in love instantly, the atmosphere, people, service and of course the food we ordered was excellent. My son has a great eye. We'll be back for sure.

Drove up from Phoenix to visit family for the weekend. Stopped here on a Friday around 5:30 pm. Place was busy but we sat at the bar and were promptly served. Piehole Porter for me and Summer Sipper for my friend. We were still in Happy Hour so I had a bowl of the gumbo which was very good. My friend decided on the catfish which he said was wonderful and the homemade fries were out of this world. We followed it all with a piece of Pickle Berry Pie.

The pickle berry pie is a surprising delight! The tartness of the berries perfectly balances with the whipped goat cheese topping. The flaky, buttery crust adds just the right amount of richness to complement the bright and bold filling. It's an unexpected twist on a classic fruit pie that somehow works beautifully, offering a refreshing and adventurous dessert experience. If you're looking for something truly different and delicious, this pickle berry pie is a must-try!

I enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Parish recently after discovering this gem located on Oracle Road in Tucson. I recently spent some time in New Orleans and I was hankering for more of that soulful Southern cuisine ... and it seems I found the only restaurant in Tucson that fits that bill.

So, I went whole hog and enjoyed the gumbo with hush puppies while taking home the BBQ shrimp & grits, and the goat cheese relleno appetizer.

I had the gumbo with crawfish, which I highly recommend. Good depth of flavors and very hearty. The shrimp and grits are spot-on, too, and this grits were presented in a very novel way - molded and then fried - which was very good. The collard greens went very well with all of it.

The goat cheese relleno has bacon, cilantro, and pico de gallo -- a great flavor combination here, too.

So, yea, I'm really very happy that I found The Parish. I shall return. Keep up the great work!

This was our first of many trips to The Parish! Everything was amazing. We only ate appetizers since they were so interesting. The corn bread, frog legs and Brussels were fabulous! The cocktails were great too!
