We had a wonderful 3 night stay at El Presidio B&B. The historic property was beautiful, especially the gardens, and within walking distance to many local sights. From the moment we arrived, Patti made us feel welcomed. She took great care to ensure we had everything we needed. Our room was spotless and stocked with drinks and snacks. Her delicious breakfast was first class. (You won’t go hungry) Patti’s a great host! She’s so kind, thoughtful and her knowledge of historic Tucson is amazing. She provided excellent recommendations for food and attractions. Easy parking- great location. We highly recommend staying here and will be coming back. Like others have stated, a hidden gem.

We spent 6 nights in the Carriage House Suite at the El Presidio B&B. The B&B is owned and run by an amazing lady named Patti. She makes delicious large breakfasts every morning, and keeps your room stocked with snacks, cookies, and various beverages. She is so knowledgeable about the area, and will give tips on sightseeing options and places to eat. There are some restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Prepare to be dazzled as you walk into her magical courtyard, with the colors and scents of beautiful plants, flowers, towering trees and a wonderful water fountain. This is a very comfortable, peaceful “home away from home” and I highly recommend staying there in your visit to Tucson!

Having stayed in many, my wife and I agreed that the El Presidio B&B is a gem. Patti, the owner and host, has done everything we could imagine to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable, safe and truly unforgettable. No worries about parking on the street in this beautiful residential neighborhood, Patti provides guests with a temporary residential|parking pass. The feeling of staying in a beautifully restored historic house in Tucson's oldest district was a bonus for us.

El Presidio B and B is a hidden gem very close to downtown. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was staying there. We’ve stayed in many bed and breakfast accommodations and this was definitely one of the best. We stayed in the Gate house with a private entrance from the courtyard. It had everything you could possibly need including extra snacks and drinks in the fridge. Patti is an amazing host; so kind and welcoming. The breakfasts are huge; you won’t be hungry until dinner. There is a lot of history and interesting stories about this building compound. I would highly recommend staying here. The rates are very reasonable and it’s in a great location.

What a wonderful B&B! Love the history of the Inn, the beautiful furnished rooms, sitting rooms…. And especially the courtyard and gardens ! And so enjoyed Patti… her delicious breakfasts (no need for lunch !) her gracious sharing of the history and surrounding areas, and recommendations for dinner were priceless ! We felt so welcomed and now after 3 wonderful nights, consider her a friend. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

We had the most beautiful weekend staying with Patti at El Presidio, she is the most kind and gracious hostess and it was truly such a pleasure meeting her! The room was clean and comfortable, stocked with drinks and snacks, and the courtyard is so lovely and relaxing. I can’t wait to go back for another visit to enjoy the delicious breakfast and incredible company at El Presidio Bed and Breakfast! This place is a gem and I highly recommend!!!

We arrived back home tonight after a 4 day stay at this beautiful B&B. Patti, the owner and innkeeper is an absolute joy. Having owned the Inn and being in Tucson since the 70’s. She is a wealth of information about southern Arizona. The breakfast that she serves is great and tailored to individual needs such as a gluten free diet. The rooms are comfortable and roomy. The location of the inn is also very convenient (walking distance) to many downtown attractions. If you are looking for THE bed and breakfast in Tucson, this is the place for you. This Bed & Breakfast was an oasis in Tucson. Patti, the host, was just lovely and a delight to visit with. The breakfasts were delicious. Our room was fantastic with a full kitchen. I loved the decor so much that I am trying to find some of the tin & ceramic tile mirrors for my own home. The snacks in the room were a nice touch!
