I stayed here in January 2025 with my significant other. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway, and it's only a 5-10 minute drive to downtown. The front desk associate was very welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth. Our room was perfectly clean, and we felt safe walking to and from our car at night. Breakfast was served until 9 AM, and the breakfast associate made sure we had everything we needed before they cleaned up. I would definitely stay here again.

Reception staff was pleasant and attentive upon my arrival and check-in.
The room was above my expectations with glass coffee cups and water glasses and a perfect comfort Goldilocks bed.
I was also impressed by the other visiting guests, everyone seemed to be enjoying their time and stay here.
Jessie the evening manager was very helpful and kind when his assistance was needed.

The customer service at the Hyatt Place was terrific. From the checkin process, the service personnel at the complementary breakfast and then checkout everyone gave 100% to make sure our stay was the best it could be. I was thanked multiple times for being their customer which I appreciated very much. As you would expect the room and facilities were spotless and well kept.

The second shift concierge Jeannie (definitely didn't spell it correctly). Goes above and beyond for the guest. Very welcoming and truly cares for the guests.
My only complaint is in regards to the shower head and the fact there was not a fan in the bathroom.

Hyatt place
Wade, Susie, Steve and the cleaning crew was the best, only the best thing about this hotel, besides the shower and the soft closing toil seat. Breakfast looked OK but most of the stuff I cannot eat. I grabbed an apple and orange. This place needs a new location, it was tired and old. Witnessed drug deals and people shooting up, just outside. Rooms were old and tired. The concrete at the entranceway should be water blasted to make it look clean. There was so much gum marks it was disgusting. I actually should’ve moved hotels as much as I love the Hyatt. This is not a place that I would ever stay again. I really was afraid that our car would get broken into.

My family and I had a great night here, the towels were ridiculously soft (better then our next stay at a Hyatt Regency) and I can't say enough about the breakfast. I have some dietary restrictions and didn't expect to eat much, but they had wonderfully cooked eggs, amazing salsa and delicious turkey sausage. The entire staff was also great to interact with. Everyone was friendly and said hi to you. I will be traveling to Tucson again and this hotel is at the top of my list.

I have stayed at this hotel 10 times over the last year, and every time in every instance, my stay was exceptional. I travel a great deal for work and frankly, most hotels are disappointing or frustrating. Not this hotel and not this staff. They go above and beyond in numerous ways and I am always thankful to return and visit with them

Skip this Hyatt. It's right off the highway, in a sketchy part of town. I was not happy leaving our car parked in the lot overnight. But worse was the clerk. She gave us the wrong kind of room, despite my having a confirmation for the correct room. She could not have cared less, implied it was my fault, and refused to change the room. She really was the worst, least caring employee I've ever come across in a Hyatt. We cut our rez short and went elsewhere.
