After reading the reviews, we wanted to try Almari Mexican Grill. We were very impressed. Not only is the restaurant atmosphere amazing, but the food and its presentation were very well done.
Our waiter was very good and the service was great.

I visited Almari for the first time with my family and was throughly impressed. The restaurant is beautiful and has a premium and vibrant Mexican feel.
The food was delicious. We tried a couple of different thing on the menu and decided we definitely need to come back so we can try more — everything was spectacular.

We started our meal with a few appetizers, the Sopesitos de Tinga and the Elote. Both 10/10.

For our main meal, we ordered the Enchiladas Almari, with both Chicken and Birria and the Chicharrón en Salsa. The flavors were rich, presentation was gorgeous and the portions were very generous.

If you’re looking for an authentic premium Mexican food experience, look no further. This place has it all and it’s a great value for the price.

We will definitely come back soon!

The food and service were great, but the atmosphere is next level. The building is so beautiful, and the day of the dead memorial is perfect. I got the fajitas and wasn't disappointed at all. Huge portion and great flavor. The salsa is also so very good. Not for those that can't handle a bit of heat.

5 star round up here. After reading a few older reviews, and seeing some good pictures we decided to try out Almari. The food was the stand out for our family. The cheese fondue with homemade corn tortillas was a great starter in addition to the complimentary chips with green and red salsas. The Chicken Enchiladas with Rojo and verde sauces was great. I also had a birra taco which was tasty, all on its own. The rest of the table had street tacos (5), carne asada burrito, smothered chili relleno, and a watermelon salad. It is not an exaggeration when I say every place was cleaned before heading back to the kitchen.
Suggestions: the lights were a bit bright for dinner, and the music was a little tough to talk over, that may change day to day. The staff was working hard but sections were likely too big for the waiters on staff. We were not in hurry so it didn’t bother us.

We will be back to enjoy the chicken molé and more cheese fondue.

We were visiting my Nanny, from Canada ! She took us out for a girls night. The food was delicious, the service was amazing. We asked to sit outside and they said yes for sure ! They set a table outside and we had our own little dinning area 🙂 Our server Joseph was amazing, he made sure we had everything we needed and more. All the other staff were a great help as well! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Casa Grande!

Food: Terrible, my father got a bean burrito it was very bland and the portion of it with green sauce on it tasted bad. I got the shrimp cocktail, the shrimp was over cooked and the sauce had too strong of a lime flavor. Also the chips and salsa were bad, the chips were stale and the salsa was very watery .

Service: The waitress we had serving us was very nice and attentive. However, the place is clearly understaffed as they don’t seem to have a bartender to run the bar nor a front desk person.

Atmosphere: The place looks nice but it’s very empty, most of the space is up for rent and the space they are using is still very empty. When me and my father went there it was us and about three other small groups of people (we went on a Friday night for context).

Price: the place is overpriced and all the prices on the menu aren’t accurate, for example my father got a side dish of fries that the menu said was 6.99 but we were charged 7.99 (we didn’t say anything of course because it was just a dollar but it is something I figure I should mention in this review). Overall for my shrimp cocktail, his burrito, and some fries we spent 50 dollars (not including tip). No offense but the food, especially considering the quality, was not worth 50 dollars.

Overall I give it a 1 star because food is the most importantly part of a restaurant and the food here is just isn’t good, I tried my best to find something I liked about it but outside of the fries everything was just bad. Also I especially wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone like my father who has a limited diet due to health issues as the menu does not have many non-meat options as most of the foods contain beef or pork.

First time here on their 1 year anniversary and I have to say, I'll be back for sure!! The pictures tell the story but the elote was soo good!! Very tender and seasoned just right.. The taco salad with pork was better than I expected and I had high expectations after the elote.. wife had the bean and cheese burrito with shredded chicken added and she could have done wo the chicken but said it was good which is a high marks from someone that isn't a Mexican food fan... top it off with fresh chips and salsa and ice cold beers and it was a stellar date night!! Go try this place out, you wont be disappointed.. plus it was a ton of food for the price.. keep it up Almari!!

You want good food and great personalities this is the place to go in Casa Grande. Off the beaten path but well worth the small jog off the main drag. Try the green sauce and the banana burrito. You won't be disappointed. I promise. We were the only ones there but I don't regret it one bit!!!
