Terrible Service—Avoid Allison K.
Stopped at The Hideout Steakhouse and Barbecue, and it was by far the worst service I’ve experienced in Arizona. The food was decent for what it is, but if you want real barbecue, go to Phoenix.

The service, though? Absolutely terrible. We were inside for an hour and 15 minutes, and we saw our server, Allison K., only three times. When we asked about cocktails, she rudely said, "Yeah, here’s the menu," and walked off without even checking back to see if we’d made a decision.

To make it worse, while taking our order, she only got half the table’s orders before walking off to serve food to another table—completely disrespectful and unprofessional. Had to ask for a refill when she brought the check.

If you ever go here, avoid Allison K. at all costs. Service like that ruins the experience.

The double cheeseburger ended up being much larger than expected. Note that the patties are not small! Ribeye steak was seasoned nicely, and everything was cooked well.

Meal was good. Except peach cobbler. Two small pieces of peach and rest was dry crusty stuff. However the waitress was really thoughtful and sent a better one home with us.

Our server this visit was Kim & Tina Brown brought out extra garlic butter for our steak. They were both so sweet.
Honestly, all of the servers & staff at Hideout are amazing. I have never had a bad experience here. Every time we eat here, we are so impressed.
We ordered steak bites with the stone to cook them to our desire. I prefer medium, and my husband prefers medium well. Using the stone allows you to customize each bite to your liking. They are so tender they melt in your mouth.
We ordered side salads with ranch dressing & fettuccine alfredo. Hideout's ranch dressing is incredible.
I got a Long Island Iced Tea - Trashcan style (first time trying it & it was ymmy!)
The Hideout staff is always warm, friendly, and attentive.
The atmosphere is flexible, meaning you can come dressed casually or dress up & and you feel like you fit in.
The food is incredible. I've never ordered anything I didn't like.
Hideout Steakhouse is a hidden gem in Casa Grande. Hands down, it is #1 in the top 3 of our favorite restaurants down here.
When we have people visiting, we bring them here to eat. You can tell the owner cares about his staff & customers and experiences. In today's world, that is a rare thing. Kudos to you! Also, Hideout supports the local community with fundraisers etc. We are very lucky to have such a great establishment here in Casa Grande!

We went in on Sat 1/11 to celebrate 3 family birthdays. Our waitress Tina B was awesome! Made great suggestions and also made sure we had water with our drinks. Love that as I forget sometimes. Food was great and each steak was cooked perfectly. Tina brought us 3 desserts for the birthday boys and brought over Kim and Joni to help sing happy birthday. Was am amazing time and this is definitely our new birthday dinner restaurant!!!

First time here. My husband knew I was wanting a good steak. He saw the rating and picked this place. Well prices are high. I got the prime rib and it was lacking taste and it was so fatty. Not impressed. Then I got the onions and mushrooms on the side went to take a bite of them and nearly broke my tooth from and over fried French fry in my mushrooms and onions that bit down on. Informed the waitress and she was like oh sorry I'll let them know. Doubt she did. She was not the most receptive to our table as we saw her maybe 4 times. Let's just say first time impressions were not great and we won't be back.

I took my kids and their families to Hideout for lunch during the Christmas season and could not have been happier.

The service was spectacular. Waitress was fun, friendly, and attentive.

The food was done perfectly. We got a variety of dishes (including a kids meal) and every person at the table was happy.

Despite being in a shopping center, the parking was surprisingly easy, which made me very happy.

Will definitely be going back.

Hideout Steakhouse is normally our favorite place to go to and we will be back, but I do feel that I have to write this review to make the owners aware. On Saturday, Feb 1st we decided to have dinner their with 3 other couples, so their was a total of 8 of us. The restaurant was busy, but nothing out of the ordinary for a Saturday at 5pm. We were seated right away and our beverage and food order was taken promptly. We did place two appetizer orders. It took awhile for our server to come back for refills and our appetizers (jalapeno poppers) took awhile, as well. Once those arrived, she announced she would put in our main course order. We all looked at her like....are you kidding me?!?!? You haven't put that in yet? My brother in law made a comment to her about starving by the time that would arrive and she just laughed it off, even though he was completely serious. About 45 minutes later, our food finally arrived and two of the orders included the "stones" with it. When I noticed my order, which was the tri tip, med well, placed in front of me, I could clearly see that it wasn't cooked properly because the juices included blood with it, I told the server right away that this wasn't medium well because I can see the blood on my plate. Well, she told me to finish cooking it on one of the stones because "sharing is caring", and then walked away. Now, I don't know if she was just having an "off" day, but this is totally unacceptable behavior in my opinion. We've eaten at this restaurant several times and have never had an issue before. The food and service has always been excellent. In fact, once my steak was cooked, it was good....everyone else said their meal was good. I think your cook just needs to pay a little more attention to the cooking time and the server probably needs to be retrained.
