The room for smokers is in need for an upgrade, the first time we were there, we told them about the mattress has a big sink, my friend and I went back a few months later because he had work to do, the same room, same sink hole in the mattress, the room does be clean, but it seriously needs an upgrade

I stay at a lot of hotels and I'm picky. I'll pay more to stay at a nicer hotel. All Tuscaloosa hotels were booked. So I stayed here, a 9-10 min. drive from campus. Few things are what they purport to be - this is exactly what it purports to be - $80 a night for a comfortable, quiet, no-smell room close to Alabama campus. Huge plus is Starbucks and a few predictable restaurants are within 2 minutes. If you want room service, a full breakfast, this is not for you - but if you're visiting your child on campus and other hotels are booked, they are what they say they are - safe, quiet, close, comfortable. Per other reviews: 1) I saw no bugs; 2) bk I was here for only 2 nights I kept the DND sign on so can't vouch for quality of room service Let me be clear, this is not ur #1 pick; this is your highly valued backup.

We were there for 4 nights. The owner/managers were awful. Extremely unfriendly and just plain awful. The building and rooms were nice and clean. But no one e ever came in to clean our room. We had to beg for clean towels and for someone to come empty our garbage. The breakfast was horrible. There was raisin bran and cornflakes to choose from. Also, about 10 mini muffins put out and 1 kind of yogurt. That was it. No fruit or toast or anything.. the only good thing I can say about our experience was that the rooms were clean and they had a nice, very small lobby.

This place is a dump. Plain and simple. Basic amenities, soap, lotion, shampoo, etc., were all in slow flowing dispensers, no bars or tubes. Bad USB plugs, small TV, terrible “breakfast”, small flat pillows, lumpy bed. Never going back. Fool me once……

This hotel is so nasty!! My husband and i stayed over the weekend and was awaken by nasty bed bug biting us. I have never experienced nothing like this before and was so disgusted!! When we informed the clerk acted like he didn't care at all. There was also a bed bug in the restroom.He tried to offer us another room but who wants to stay in a hotel at all with infested bed bugs. He didnt want to give refund saying since we booked through booking then they would give refund.When called booking they said to contact manager. We made a review on the hotel and the property manager stated that if my husband remove the review them he would give him a refund and that is wrong on so many levels. Only got one star because couldnt post without puuting at least one star because they deserve none!!

What a pleasant surprise. Booked on Expedia at the last minute. We got the best deal! Check in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and had lots of amenities. It was VERY clean. The bed was so comfortable. Perfect place to lay our heads after a long day driving. The breakfast was included and good. You could make homemade waffles if you wanted. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back when we come through again!

My wife and I stay here whenever we come into town for football games. This hotel has always exceeded our expectations. They were very accommodating to my wife and I while traveling with our baby last weekend - the crib was set up in our room before we checked in. Great experience!
