We love this place. It is ALWAYS clean, the staff is really helpful and attentive. We have never had to wait more than a few mins for our food. The food is really good, my husband likes it for the convenience of being able to eat the kolaches on the go without leaving a mess. My favorite is the ham and cheese and my husband's is the brisket and mashed potatoes. The combos offer real value. If you haven't tried, come and check it out and if you have, keep coming back, let's support our local economy.

10/6/24: a friend mentioned kolache's a week or so earlier so we decided to hit up the Ahwatukee location. Pristine location, funny Halloween decor, friendly staff, and a wide variety of menu items.

We both purchased a breakfast/lunch kolache plus a dessert. All of it was good carbs and well-priced. They are the perfect size for light eaters, and they have 1/2 and a dozen packages, making the pricing even lowers if you go that route.

This particular Saturday we popped in around 12:30 and it was pretty empty of patrons (us two, another table of four, plus the skeleton and invisible man. 🙂 There was a large variety of options but being that time of day, many of them were also either low or out completely.

That being said, we will definitely return to Kolache Cafe and try a few other varieties. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

I just moved into the area and haven’t had a kolache since I left the Midwest years ago. I drove by The Kolache Cafe several times on my way home. I finally stopped in and was not disappointed. The Bavarian cream is to die for! I’d never had a savory kolache, but the sausage, egg, and cheese was delightful. I couldn’t decide and ended up getting a half dozen. The savory kolaches reheat well and make a great breakfast in the go. Highly recommend!

The Environment was very open and welcoming along with a lot of natural light. The food, a bit underwhelming for my expectations. My wife and I were excited about this spot having kolache’s in Texas many times. I will say, the quality is fine but it’s disheartening to watch them pack up your choices and throw them in a microwave to over nuke them and destroy any concept of flavor overall. It is never enjoyable to have to kill your Kolache with Hot sauce for it to still lack flavor overall.

Their ham, egg & cheese Kolache was so delicious, as was the mixed berry.
I'm partly glad this place isn't close to my house because I'd probably eat there every morning 😁.
I will definitely be back. I have to eventually try all of the kolaches.

If you're looking for great food at a reasonable price, look no further. Their food is always as expected and consistent every time. Their employees are incredible as well. I feel a sense of happiness among them, which leads me to belive they are treated with respect at the establishment by their supervisors and the owner. Happy employees lead to happy customers. Happy customers lead to more business. More business leads to a reason to incentivize the employees. It's a full circle. I love every aspect of this small business. Will be supporting this business for the foreseeable future.

Ok, I didn’t trust theses reviews because how can it be so inexpensive and good at the same time. Well, it is. I tried the combo 2 with Swiss and ham, and caramel apple. It comes with a coffee. For less than $10!!!

I want to try the pecan next time.
