It's a nice hotel, rooms are nice. However, the staff are careless and incompetent.

My room's bathroom fan was super loud and I was unable to switch it off. Had a terrible night of sleep which is not good when you are on a business trip. The next morning when I checked out, I noted this issue to the lady at the front desk, even showed her the video I took. She could have cared less.

A few minutes after that, my colleague checked out and noted he had condoms in his room that was not cleaned up. He had the same response from the front desk staff, no worries or decent apology.

Lastly, I found it strange that they offer free beer and cheese in the evenings, but when you ask for a bottle of water, you get charged $3 for that bottle of water. Makes no sense.

Stayed at the Element while in Chandler on business. My usual hotel, the Cambria, was booked so grabbed this one because it was well rated and still in walking distance to my office. Staff were great but my room smells like old food and isn’t all that clean; garbage left on the window sill, comforter has a big blob of neon pink (nail polish?) on it, and overall the furnishings and fixtures look tired / used. Won’t be back.

Staying with elderly parents in "handicapped friendly" room. Two locations for handicapped parking, in front of hotel and by the pool. Only the parking closest to their room had no handicapped curbing. Not convenient at all.

Room had issues getting in and out of bathroom with wheelchair as there is a lip in transition through door, walker ok. Bars in proper locations and shower was nice but slippery and had to request a bath mat. Toilets are low.

Transition from flooring to carpet again causing issues with wheelchair. No couch. One stationary chair. Desk large. Beds very low. Frame of bed corners sharp. Fell and cut arm. Scraped legs several times. Safety issue.

Breakfast very good but difficult with walker and wheelchair requires assistance to make plates, get coffee etc.. no staff help and breakfast no delivery

Phones in room complicated to use. Initially not working at all. Requested assistance 3 times. No instructions for use.

Kitchenette nice. Microwave no instructions trail and error.

We feel not very handicapped friendly or helpful for elderly.

Additionally does are extremely heavy and handles get extremely hot during the day opening doors. Burn hand trying to manuver wheelchair and walker

Laundry room available. Runs on quarters but does not say how many

Nice gym and pool available.

Update: 7 days in this room and telephone still not working. When you call outside hotel, rings and hangs up. Today I notified the front desk again. They ring the room and it goes automatically to voice mail. Determined issue must be wire connection in wall. No maintenance people there on Mondays. This is not safe for the elderly!

Rooms were nice enough and generally clean. We were told housekeeping would service our room every other day. Our stay was eight nights and our room was somehow only serviced twice. That wasn’t a big deal. It just meant we needed to request towels from the front desk a few times and soap once. The breakfasts were okay—a bit more variety would be nice. We saw a bunch of tiny ants on the counter in our room and had a similar sighting on the bar in the breakfast area. That was not particularly appealing. Overall, (most) things were clean and functional and in good repair and the staff seemed very friendly and helpful. The price we got when booking was very reasonable as well. It probably wouldn’t be my first choice on a subsequent trip, but I would consider it as an option.

Very happy with handicap room and surprised to see recent review of same that is misleading. Great staff and amenities. Breakfast and happy hour free food was very good. Used washing machine no problem same with phones.

Nice and clean hotel, most of the people working there are very friendly and supportive. Nice, large, clean and well designed rooms. Location is perfect, close to many restaurants and shopping. Has EV car chargers.

Element on Chandler Village Drive is spectacular 3 Star Hotel here in Chandler, Arizona adjacent to Chandler Fashion Center. I gave it 5 stars for service, courteousness and because staff here treats each guest with the utmost of integrity and going the extra distance to make our stay very comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.
I marked business as my reason for our visit but in reality its neither business nor vacation. My story is short and most definitely not a pity party rather truth he told, we are out of necessity. Our lovely home in Ocotillo, caught on fire and was uninhabitable after it was controlled and extinguished. Staff has been simply outstanding in our time of need.
A special kudos to Carson, Carlos , Sierra, Angie and countless others from housekeeping to their version of concierge as the talent and managerial skills the possess is STELLAR ! THANK YOU ALL SO VERY, VERY MUCH !

I was here for 3 nights in Jan 2024 while I was taking a weekend course in Tempe. The location was easy to find and there are so many restaurants to choose from as you are across the street from Fashion Center. Even though it is a large shopping complex, the traffic was not ridiculous. The staff that I encountered were always friendly and helpful. I opted out of everyday housekeeping but the day that they did stop in the cleaning was well done. It's nice to have a kitchenette and sitting area in a hotel because it seems a little more like an apartment and not just a "room". The morning breakfast had something for everyone and there was a coffeemaker in the room as well. There was plenty of parking. I would definitely stay here again. While I did not use the amenities, there is a pool and fitness center.
