We were not recognized as Platinum members. Should have had free water which we did not receive. The front check in staff was fantastic, however! Very friendly and helpful with dinner recommendations. The room did not really meet with the Best Western Plus standards. The mattress were overly firm, pillows not the greatest. Floor in the bathroom looked dirty/like it had a thin smear of mud, but might have just been the pattern on the tiles. I didn't try to clean it to see. Wasn't bad enough to make me wear shoes. The towels were very thin. Shower didn't drain well, toilet was slow to flush and had to keep the handle held down a bit. We did NOT bring it to front staff attention. The breakfast was good; gravy and biscuits, link sausage, scrambled eggs (plain and with cheese), bagels, boiled eggs. Didn't have any pastries, only 1 slice of bread. Has a new coffee machine that was just delivered (has only had for 2 wks), but they don't have all the flavors that it should have (no mocha)... but they are supposed to be getting it. Check out was easy, front desk staff was also very friendly. Overall, it was a fairly comfortable stay, would have no problems staying again. Room was quiet, TV worked well.

Great value and beds were comfy and breakfast was nice! Several options and Kathy, at the front desk was very polite and professional!|The free complimentary coffee and filtered water was great!|The overall experience and quality was excellent! This is a great place to stay!

The rooms at this location are safe and clean. The inside doors add additional security. The employees are all friendly and professional. The breakfast bar is exceptional. The food is hot and delicious. Every single employee went out if their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Clean nice rooms! Not bad at all for the price. They offer you fresh baked cookies at check in and have a beverage area open at all times. Breakfast was great! Had cheesey eggs and sausage along with waffles, biscuits and gravy, and the basics of breakfast stuff available. Would recommend stopping here.

This is my second stay at this location, first time was wonderful so we came back.
When i arrived I turned the air on in the room, after about 30 minutes the room wasnt cooling— i went to the feont desk and spoke with the night manager. She said they were full (as were many of yhe local hotels) and offered a fan when i told her if we couldnt find a solution we would have to leave. She told me she would leave a note for the day manager(apparently didnt). We stay overnight and the fan made the room bearable. When i spoke to the manager(joshua schaian) at check out he was very rude— then went into playing the victim l— i never asked for the room to be comped but a $15 credit is not a fair compensation for staying in a room that they KNEW the air didnt work in— he told me “she should have called us to let us know before we arrived”, he also told me we shouldve left ( again we had already left two hotels that were booked and i was traveling with a sick toddler)— when i said i would just call corporate beacuse that was unreasonable he started getting very defensive and curt then threatened to call the police— mind you ,i at no point yelled at this man or said anything out of line— simply told him what he was offering was unreasonable.

Sucks because my first stay was so pleasant so i didnt mind coming back. Wont be back now

We have been staying here for a few years now. They are always nice and accommodating. Jessica makes the best breakfast and if you catch omelet day, you will have a treat! I would like to thank all the staff for their professional attitude and genuine care.

This stay was a great experience all around and great value for money. We stayed April 12-14 for a family wedding. When we arrived we were immediately checked in and able to head up to our room. The per night price was at a reasonable level, the location was excellent near Oak Mountain, Windwood Equestrian, restaurants, and a good breakfast offering. And most importantly, this was the cleanest hotel I have been in at any level of stay and the unique touches we just felt like someone really cares. You could just feel the pride the owner and staff have in this place. ||If all that wasn’t enough, my sister whom has several serious health problems including memory issues left her wallet by accident at the end of the stay. They literally tracked us down within 2 hours to tell us and arrange with her daughter to send the wallet back to her! Simply above and beyond, thank you!

It was really nice. Great rooms, comfy beds, very clean, but i would suggest that they have dehumidifiers in the room because the sheets were uncomfortably damp and so were our clothes after sitting out all night.... but other than that it was an amazing stay!
