We could not say enough great things about Ben, the food or his incredible staff and neither could our guests! We first met Ben at our food tasting about three months out from our wedding and we were both pleasantly surprised with just how delicious all of the food we tried was. It actually made for a difficult decision to narrow our menu down for the guests. However, we knew that whatever we chose would be amazing so that was such a comfort. Jump to the actual wedding day, Ben checked in on both myself (the bride) and my husband to ask if we needed anything to drink and had beautiful charcuterrie boards waiting for us in our suites. Throughout the night we never had to worry about getting food as it was always brought to us and offered to us first which was actually so helpful because you truly do forget to eat with everything going on! Our guests were VERY impressed with the catering team as well. We received many compliments on the food and just the overall promptness of the staff and the attention to detail that was paid to guests dietary restrictions or special needs. I have been to several weddings but this was by far the best food I have ever had at a wedding. Ensemble catering is one decision on your wedding day you will NOT regret.

Communication:

Ben. Rules. Ben deserves a raise for very kindly put up with every question we had, be it about dietary restrictions we put on our dinner menus, procedures for family style, what have you — Ben truly went above and beyond and made our life as the bride and groom incredibly easy.

Attention to Detail:

The entire staff was so attentive towards our guests, and they were truly fantastic. Not that we had any doubts, but we approached some of our guests who had dietary restrictions just to ensure that they were taken care of, and they spoke very highly of the service they received. And, being the bride and groom, the second we sat down at our sweetheart table we had food and drinks in front of us. And, Ben even brought us our entree meal right away so that we could inhale it before moving on to the next parts of our evening.

Quality of Food:

The food was incredible. Finalizing our menu was easy, but the process took a while because everything we tried was SO GOOD. A second tasting with Ensemble does cost $100/person as a heads up, but we promise you it is money very well spent! We assumed that they cast a wide net in their first tasting so that you can get a glimpse at what their flavors are like, which makes sense. But in our second tasting, we really dialed in our menu pretty easily. And on the day, we didn’t hear a single complaint about food. One of our aunts was literally licking her plate clean.

Quality of Service:

The entirety of the Ensemble Catering staff tended to our guests with great thought and care. The fact that they took such good care of our guests really meant a lot to us. Coming from the service industry ourselves (we’ve all been a server at one point or another), everyone was so well-prepared and took excellent care of ourselves and those around us.

We had Ensemble Catering for our wedding at Venue at the Grove on 11/3/2022 and it was a fantastic experience. I want to give a special shout-out to the catering manager, Ben. I hadn’t met him before, but he was there supervising on my wedding day. There was just something about him that put my mind at ease, and he really did help make it such a great overall experience. The food of course was absolutely delicious, and the serving staff was super attentive and kind. Thank you so much for everything!

Our experience with Ensemble Catering for our wedding at Venue at the Grove was excellent. The tasting was enjoyable and on the day of, they delivered! We had guests telling us how much they enjoyed all of the food options, as did we!

This catering service is the worst you can possibly book. They use appetizers that can be up to a week old, reused if not used completely from a previous event. Always complaining about costs when the owner is the only one whoever actually profits from an event. They do not only use sysco products or products they provide in store but they illegally use store bought food items when they are required to get any food through a servicer. The wedding venue they have is just a back yard with large space and green grass nothing really over the top or special for what they charge the client. Most of the staff they have was recently hired and no one currently working there has any knowledge prior than a year. They do not have full knowledge of how to host a professional wedding and how to keep employees happy and employed.
