Came here for lunch for my mother's birthday in early November and had made a reservation. After being seated it took over ten minutes (I timed it) and asking twice to recieve menus for the two of us. They did however compensate us for the wait with a free appetizer. Aside from the poor attention from the staff on the floor and that being inexcusable since they only had two other tables being waited on.... the food was phenomenal! If you like fine dining incorporated with American cuisine I highly recommend this place to stop at while walking around the resort. It was quite a flavorful experience!

We went on a company team building event with MediZoom Medical Transportation to Ojai and had opportunity to visit The Oak at Ojai Valley Inn. Had an amazing time. People like Jeffery and Richard from the Oak Restaurant made a lasting memorable impression and our service with Jenna at the Wallace Neff Heritage Bar was amazing! We will definitely be back again next year for the same retreat and again for a personal visit! Thanks for the great service and a place to remember experience!

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at The Oak at Ojai Valley Inn many times, and it never disappoints 😋. The food is always incredibly fresh 🌿, and the scenery is nothing short of breathtaking, with relaxing views of the mountains and the golf course ⛰️⛳. The service is always superb, making each visit a delight 💯. I usually go for the yogurt parfait, which is consistently delicious 🍓, but today I decided to try the breakfast burrito, and it was very good 🌯. If you’re there on a Sunday, don’t miss the special breakfast buffet—it’s truly impressive 🥞🍳.

Service: two misses during our stay.

While the resort delivers a 5-star experience, the restaurant fell well short—closer to 2 stars. On both visits, the hostess was disorganized and unprofessional. She claimed that tables were reserved, yet we observed at least ten empty for nearly 50 minutes during a busy weekend, suggesting that this explanation was simply untrue. We felt misled.

During our second visit, we requested a table at the front. Two became available, and one remained empty throughout our entire dinner, yet we were still told we couldn’t be seated there.

The disconnect between the quality of the resort and the restaurant service was disappointing and hard to ignore.

Excellent brunch buffet. Omelette and waffle station, pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, potatoes, yoghurt, fruit, bagels, salmon, cream cheese, fresh juice, etc. location is hard to beat. Great service. Dog friendly.
We also had an amazing dinner here. Highly recommend the scallops. Great wine list. We cannot wait to return.

Amazing dining experience at the Oak. Bill Burr was in town doing a show and this was a perfect ending.
Elijah brought waters and referred to me by my last name which was very impressive. Victor our waiter did a great job explaining the menu and taking our order.
Exceptional food and service.

We ordered the shrimp and Brie for starters and duck, scallops and the New York strip.

Everything was great.

You didn’t really experience Ojai unless you ate at The Oak at Ojai Valley Inn! Hehe! This outdoor restaurant is so relaxed and serene especially for how pet-friendly and kid-friendly it is!!! The staff is really sweet & attentive. Food is great… exactly what you would expect! Scallops & the Peas that came with the Scallops were my absolute favorite + the very thoughtful Pet Menu. Our dogs were very appreciative. The portions were so big we took some home and they got to enjoy more the next day!!!

Came here for brunch to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Make reservations beforehand. The buffet was very impressive, and the serving staff was very polite, diligent, and customer-oriented. We walked around the resort/compound after. The grounds and rooming/spa/ restaurant options are all diverse and top-quality.
