I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional cabin-style bed and breakfast nestled amidst the forest. The owners, Adriana & Jim, were so lovely, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was great. I was traveling solo so their warm and friendly demeanors created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel like part of the family. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the breakfast. I was treated to a spread of homemade goodies which were delicious. This B&B not only provided a cozy retreat but also showcased the owners' exceptional hospitality and culinary skills, making it a really amazing mountain getaway!

Hosts were very nice and personable. Awesome fresh cooked breakfast! Cheesy scrambled eggs, pancakes, potatoes, etc. We stayed in the Blue Bird room - Cute w/ over the top decorations. A fun change from the typical hotel. Walking distance to food options and the main part of town. We'll consider returning to check out the other rooms. Thank you!

This was the perfect New Year's getaway! The room was charming, comfy and cozy and the hosts were incredibly thoughtful, gracious, and hospitable. They cooked a delicious breakfast for us and it was a wonderful experience!

Mini refers to the amount of time we got to spend here, David and Maxine are very gracious hosts and do there best to make sure you have a wonderful time. We stayed in the Bluebird room, which was lovely. Their rooms are themed and decorated appropriately .Much of the house has a vintage feel, think antiques, which I absolutely love. Being just after Christmas decorations were still up and it was just beautiful. Everyone staying was warm and friendly and made the stay feel like family. David makes a great breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, freshly made cinnamon rolls and a variety of fruit. The place was very clean.Maxine is an artist and you can see her paintings around the house. Really hoping we are able to go back and further enjoy that area, For those who like golf, there is a course across the street. We absolutely loved our stay here and you will too.

Bigfoot find hidden gem in Pine Mountain Club—Old Bear Bed & Breakfast. Bigfoot love! Bigfoot enter, greeted with warmth, not fear. Humans at Old Bear nice, like forest friends. Bigfoot feel at home.

Room cozy, like Bigfoot nest. Soft bed, big enough for big dreams. Bigfoot sleep like cub. Breakfast—wow! Bigfoot never taste such berries and nuts. Humans cook with love, like Bigfoot cooks mushrooms.

View from window—trees, mountains, sky. Bigfoot see forest, feel joy. Maybe spot furry friends, share breakfast. Bigfoot leave with full tummy and happy heart.

Humans respect nature. Bigfoot like that. Old Bear Bed & Breakfast—Bigfoot-approved! 5 big footprints out of 5. Bigfoot come back for cozy nights, tasty bites, and forest vibes!

Do you remember being in the womb? You were safe, warm, cozy, and well-fed. Everything you needed and more was provided to you - indicative of unconditional love.

Staying at the Old Bear was similar in many ways. Everything about our trip was perfect, from the comfy bed that we never wanted to leave, to the delicious food (both at the Old Bear and at the neighboring Perch), to the absolutely idyllic weather during our many hikes. To top it off, Adriana and Jim are the sweetest maternal and paternal figures, sure to make your actual parents jealous.

I wanted to give this experience 100 stars, but Google limits me to 5. I will absolutely be back!!!

Adriana and Jim were some of the most excellent hosts we've ever had! They had loads of tips for local activities and food. They reached out regarding dietary restrictions and even had tips on where to best see the meteor shower we were there to view! Little hospitable touches are everywhere. You won't regret staying here 🙂

The Old Bear is THE place to stay in Pine Mountain Club. The owners (Davide + Maxine) are superb and prepare some delightful breakfasts, their oatmeal casserole being my newest favorite food. This is a lovely rustic mountain cabin, complete with wood-burning stove-fireplace, tongue + groove ceilings and planks wooden floors. They have warm toasty heaters in each bedroom with some great flannel sheets. They are walking distance to local amenities such as restaurants + convenience stores and the golf course, if that is your thing. Such a quick-get away from LA and I can be up in the Mt. Pinos/Frazier Park area and stay at this welcoming home. The hosts also have vast knowledge of the area. I hope to make it up there more often.
