I want to start off by saying I stay in a different hotel just about six nights a week for work as I'm always in a different area.. when I walked into this location, I was immediately greeted by Gina at the front desk. I deal with a lot of front desk staff and I've never had someone quite as kind and efficient as Gina was. Check in was a breeze, after traveling all day the last thing I want to do is deal with a long check in. She was very quick to get us checked in and into our rooms. The rooms are very spacious and have all been redone recently and the hotel is very clean. Thank you again Gina!

I had a great experience at the Ramada Hotel in Bakersfield thanks to Gina at the front desk. She was courteous, friendly, and went out of her way to share helpful info about the town. She had good recommendations for dinner and lunch. Excellent service!

Clean room, awesome hospitality. Great customer service. Omg the breakfast was absolutely delicious.. 💯 recommend if you stay here have the breakfast everything fresh and great tasting. It had the perfect spices. Nice people. All around I give it 10/10.

Pros: My dog was allowed. There was a decent amount of shampoo conditioner, lotion (one for each of us). The price was relatively decent. Personnel at check in and out were pleasant. ||Cons: The room was somewhat dirty and outdated. Sheets had lint on them, chair cushion and sides of mattress had stains. Lots of homeless in area - did not feel safe. Was charged a holding fee in case of damage, but was not told prior. I discovered it while looking at my bank statement. It was, however, refunded so that is good.

The staff & the Manager at this hotel are wonderful. They are SO responsive with follow-up, emails responses, and room requests. We had a handicapped room and it was spacious with excellent options for someone in a wheelchair. One suggestion would be to have a lower wall handle attachment to put the shower wand on.

The Valentine’s decorations and friendly front desk staff really made it a welcoming place. We do a lot of traveling and I can’t say enough about how friendly and welcoming the staff is here. The Manager seems to really set the tone.

I stayed at the Ramada Wyndham North in Bakersfield last night. I had extra guests that were cockroaches. I had to leave at three in the morning because there were so many of them. I just got told that they don’t give refunds they’ll give me a discount on a future stay. I guess I would’ve been better off the cockroaches to pay for the room rate. Avoid this dump, like the plague, the cockroach infested plague.

We had a great stay at the Ramada Hotel in Bakersfield. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we appreciated the easy access to amenities like the swimming pool, gym, and laundry facilities. A special thanks to Gina R. at the front desk - she was incredibly helpful and provided us with all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bakersfield.

When we checked into our room we found a dead cockroach on the floor along with an empty chip bag. (At least the cockroach was dead.) Also this hotel has what I consider to be unreasonable policies. As is normal when booking, I guaranteed the reservation with my credit card. The billing for the room was debited to my card the day before our arrival. Not a big deal, but annoying. When we actually did arrive and checked in I was asked for my credit card. I told the person at the desk that the card should not be needed since I had already paid for the room a day early. I was advised the card was needed for a $100 deposit which apparently is in case there are damages. (Oh, but wait, I could have avoided this with a refundable cash deposit but in the case of cash, the deposit would be $200.) We travel through Bakersfield at least annually and this time I tried to economize. My advice is to pay a little more and stay elsewhere.
